Speedy Deletion

edit

Although this article has an "under construction" tag, it has already been removed twice and I believe the UC tag is purely an attempt to stop it happening a third time, rather than an attempt at addressing the issues. Booglamay (talk · contributions) - 12:12, 14 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I'll bear WP:AGF in mind (but will be watching this like a hawk!). Booglamay (talk · contributions) - 12:29, 14 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I added a {{hoax}} tag. AGF or not, I don't believe a word of this.    SIS  09:19, 15 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
What makes you think that? Booglamay (talk · contributions) - 12:39, 15 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
A Canadian software company hires an unknown Cuban group to program their next big game? I find that very unlikely and I won't believe it until I see it reliably sourced. But okay, 'hoax' might be a bit too strong. COI certainly isn't, though.    SIS  23:23, 15 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Though you can pay a close watch to this page and delete it any time you like I can assure you most of its content (while still needs a lot of cleaning) it's true. I can tell you because I was part of merchise and I help a little bit in its writting. The article was indeed deleted twice because the original writer had no clue how wikipedia works. As for the comment of a Canadian company hiring people to do their next game, believe me, our programmers were simply put, BRILLIANT! And there was a lot of get to know each other before Oceanus made the final step. After all they werent goint to loose anything at all, because your Canadian company never paid a dime for the work made in Cuba, they only paid giving us some computers we could work with and here in Canada payment was scarse too, but I guess that is the price we all paid to get out of Cuba and come to Canada looking for a better life, that certainly didn\t come true with them. I know there must be a lot of HOAX outthere, but I believe it's a very strong word to use. Lezumbalaberenjena (talk) 13:56, 23 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
As you can see from the article's edit-history, the hoax tag got removed by another editor within an hour. Which is fine with me because, as I said above, it might be a bit too strong. However why you copy your message above to my Talkpage six weeks after the event[1] is unclear to me. And I would still like to see some reliable sources backing this story up.    SIS  20:35, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
