Some sources mention that he was 89 or 90 years old (for example [1]), others state "He was 78." (for example [2]). The former source seems more authoritative, but it's not completely clear if the latter value was just a mistake in early reporting? (and why it hasn't been fixed by now) It would be great, if someone more knowledgeable could resolve this discrepancy to provide the correct information for readers.
