Developmental time line section edit

Why is the "Developmental time line" section part of the main article? What does it add that wikipedia users need to know? --159.178.249.176 (talk) 14:16, 7 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

History section edit

What is the relevance of this line: "On August 2011, a similar service was launched by the University of Warwick, called Piirus." --This appears to be a completely different type of service (website aimed at networking). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.69.109.200 (talk) 07:52, 12 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

This article reads a bit like an advertisement with features, awards, and other such things. It needs a re-write to get it into encyclopaedic style. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.242.196.123 (talk) 15:14, 23 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Suggested update edit

Hi, I'd like to suggest removing the section "Vendor lock-in controversy" (and also the third paragraph of the intro which exactly duplicates this text), or at least tone it down as it currently makes the situation sound more dramatic than is necessary. The issue is clearly explained here: https://blog.mendeley.com/2019/01/31/the-importance-of-interoperability as being a technical error, which has since been rectified. It is still simple for users to export their libraries to Zotero, so nobody is locked-in. The existing text is factually incorrect, and sourced to Zotero (a competitor of Mendeley).

Can you please let me know your thoughts on whether this would be a suitable change to make? I work for RELX, but I'm suggesting this update in good faith - it doesn't seem to make for an accurate article at the moment. Ryoba (talk) 14:13, 8 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
