The brief biography of Menachem Mendel Taub states that in 1944 he was transported from Auschwitz extermination and concentration camp to the Warsaw Ghetto. I doubt this because it was unlikely that the Nazis would move Jews from Auschwitz to Warsaw (since they were busy removing Jews from there) and anyway the Warsaw Ghetto had been destroyed by the Nazis in May 1943!
