John Douglas edit

It's not true that Douglas was defeated at the Port Curtis by-election. He resigned and was appointed to the Legislative Council. There are a number of other errors in this series of articles but I'll leave them for others to find. Constant Pedant (talk) 10:38, 4 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

It is also untrue that no by-election was held for Eastern Downs following McLean's death. The by-election was held on 4 January. Constant Pedant (talk) 03:57, 5 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
