Image removed

I have removed the image entitled 'Melina's signature ring entrance' as the image was putting her page out of order and thus, leaving it with a huge gap in the middle. Also, the rumours about her challenging for the Women's Title have been removed - please do not post spoilers.

There's more to it than this

I'm looking over the article, and I noticed how it only focuses on Melina's run in WWE. In the infobox, it says her other ring names are Kyra and Melanie Little Deer. How'd she come up with those names? Also, she was in OVW for a while. Anybody care to come up with any details of her run with them? --LBMixPro<Speak|on|it!> 03:13, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

I have added some information on Melina's run in other wrestling promotions, I still need to add some more about her run in OVW, feel free to edit the information Fr3nZi3 21:06, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the info, but it's a copy-paste edit from Melina's official website. Wikipedia considers it a copyright violation, and it needed to be taken out. But what you can do is either re-write it in your own words or summarize it. --LBMixPro<Speak|on|it!> 21:20, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

Possible brother?

is the brother that the article mentions possibly Eric Perez, who was recently signed by WWE?

No, he's not. The reason is because he's puerto rican, and she's mexican-american. --User:Uber Cuber

Random Information

There is an item at the end of the personal details section mentioning that he has booty head syndrome. Im not convinced this is either true or relevant to the article. That and it is poorly spelt. I tried to edit it but it doesnt seem to be there to remove. I am happy to bow to superior knowledge on this one but in the very least it needs spelling correction and then an explanation of what the syndrome is. (82.14.70.8 09:05, 4 December 2006 (UTC))

Melina is not engaged to John Cena, however she is in a relationship to Johnny Nitro.

Merged

Merged the information about her appearing on Smackdown & RAW in both 2003 and 2004 into one section entitled 'cameo appearances'. :) 124.177.116.124 23:34, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Facebuster

For Melina's one facebuster, I was thinking maybe it could be added a "running spinning kneel-out facebuster" instead of saying it is preceded by running against the ropes. This way is shorter and makes more sense. I would edit it but non-registered users can't edit it. Thanks.

People! Extreme Makeover and her running facebuster are the same move! her bouncing off the ropes was just a variation of Extreme Makeover, can someone plz fix it!

Signature moves

Whoever that person is that is constantly deleting the frog splash from Melina's moveset, please stop! Melina used the frogsplash in EWF, so you have no right to delete it as it is one of her signature moves!! --Fr3nZi3 17:55, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Yep, you're right, all finishers should be added, past or present. Though maybe adding "Frog Splash - in EWF" would be better. :) 151.197.218.184 20:46, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
I've noticed that several signature (not finishing) moves that are listed on Melina's page have only been used once. I thought only moves that she has used on a consistent basis should be included, not any new move she pulled out once in one match. Also...I've never found the Frog Splash listed as her finisher on any reputable online profile about Kyra/Melina. Any link that someone can maybe post on the page verifying that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.52.44.140 (talk)
She uses the frog splash in this video around 4:20. --Calaschysm 02:58, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
As for your comments on Melina using the moves once, just shows you dont watch her matches outside the WWE, if you did you would see that she uses all the signature moves in her list. CM Punk doesn't use all the moves on the list he has on his page in ECW, but he has established those moves in the independent circuit. --Fr3nZi3 02:18, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
That signature moves section needs to be trimmed, it is way too large. TJ Spyke 08:09, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

New finisher

People tend to call it an iverted bulldrop to a split pin, but its technically called a Guillotine Leg Drop. Please stop changing it back to the old name, i have no idea how you even got "Bulldog" out of that manouever.

California Dream or Dreams?

Did King call Melina's inverted STF the California Dream or the California Dreams? I can't remember nor find the video. Can anyone find the video, or remember? 151.197.218.184 03:44, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

California Dream. --Calaschysm 07:31, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Thats what I thought. I just rewatched it and heard it. Someone should edit it, lol. 151.197.218.184 21:02, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Its technically called "California Dreaming", both Candice and Melina stated something in their own respective blogs. In the spring issue, WWE stated they would like to see The Great Khali and Little Bastard in a movie called Khalifornia Dreamin, a beach party comedy, the name would be a play on Melinas finisher (the article centred around the 29 things WWE is dying to see in WWE, Khalifornia Dreamin was ranked 7 out of 27)

Miss California?

I checked the Miss California and Miss California USA websites and did not see Melina Perez's name listed among the past titleholders. The entry that Melina was named Miss California "in a beauty pageant" therefore needs to be deleted or clarified. Webslinger123 06:44, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

The statement's reference, an interview with her, says "She previously won a Miss California beauty contest." Keyword: a. I'd assume that means that other contests use the name "Miss California." Calaschysm 07:41, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
You very well could be right, which is why I suggested that the entry needs to be clarified if it's not deleted.Webslinger123 00:40, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Candice Michelle blog

Can someone remove the thing about Candice stating Melina took her move? It shouldn't be there. Not that it matters, but Melina had the move first anyways. 141.151.85.108 20:55, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Yeah I have taken the pleasure of deleting that rubbish, Candice Michelle is such a loser! Noone in their right mind wold steal a move from her, she can't even wrestle anyway! Melina used it WAY before her. --Fr3nZi3 23:43, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Melina responded to Candice's claims on her own blog on WWE.com. Should the entire thing be re-included in the article along with Melina's comments?
Not necessary, that'll take up way too much space, and it is not a major thing needed on an encylcopaedia.--Fr3nZi3 02:14, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Out Of Order

In the Smackdown section, I believe there is an error where it lists Melina defeated Christy Hemme before the Interpromotional battle royal on the Eddie Guerrero tribute. I recall the battle royal happening first, and the Melina/Christy match happening a week before the Melina/Trish survivor series match. Also, I remember in the Melina/Trish match, Tazz stated "That's the move that Melina knocked Christy out with last week!" after Melina did a facebuster to Trish, which would mean the match between Melina and Christy had to be after the battle royal. That may seem confusing because of my poor explaining.. But yeah. If someone could edit it since it's protected, that'd be cool. Thanks in advance. 141.151.85.108 23:56, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

They had two different singles contests: one in October I believe, leading up to the 6 person tag at No Mercy and again before her first Women's title match. Melina won both singles matches.

Finisher

Melina's finisher was also the Divastator and Kyranium Buster while in the Independents. It's listed under her signature moves, so can someone change them to the finishers and put " - Independent Curcuit" next to it? If you need proof, she says it on her GLORY profile, on Glorywrestling.com. Thanks. 141.151.85.108 21:15, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

So, can someone add it? Lol, here's the link to it.. http://www.glorywrestling.com/gg/Kyra/K.asp 141.151.85.108 22:02, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
It's really not necessary. Wrestlers have used a variety of finishers early in their careers that are eventually reduced to just being signature or set-up moves in their matches years later. Lita's Twist of Fate is a good example.
K, I was thinking it should because the Frog Splash is there and she stopped using that. Thanks. 141.151.85.108 19:43, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
I object to the fact that the Frog Splash is even there, as she used it in one particular indy event and not mentioned in any other source, but a regular editor insisted that it should be there, and there is footage on youtube to back it up.

Melanie Little Deer?

When did Melina fight under the ring name Melanie Little Deer?74.111.240.247 22:58, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Page needs protecting

Just one or two days of the page being open for all to edit, and vandals have gone crazy with vandalising it. Can someone please protect this page so experienced wikipedia editors can edit it, and not vandals with nothing better to do with their time. Also someone removed the free image of Melina and replace it with another, and someone keeps adding "Nava" as her middle name with no evidence to back it up.--Fr3nZi3 03:16, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

Frog Splash, should it be moved to signatures list?

Should the Frog Splash be moved to Melina's signature moves list? Because she has more moves on her signatures list that she used to use, and if all old finishers were added the list would be huge. So I think it should just be left with her three current finishers and put Frog Slash under signatures with "- Independent Curcuit" next to it. Anyone agree? 141.151.85.108 17:03, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

If anything it should say her current finishers and signature moves, yes the frog splash may have been 1 but its still an old move of hers, there are to many moves to put there or else it will be massive and in the way of whats real inportant on the page. --Deathtopplintheir40s 11:36, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Wrestlemania

Should the article include that she will participate in the first ever "Lumberjill" match in Wrestlemania? Or should we wait until it happens? It was announced tonight (March 26) on Raw Julie 02:17, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

We need to wait until it happens. Cheers, Bmg916 Speak to Me 02:18, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

This is not supposed to be a Melina fan shrine

Melina Perez's wikipage is turning more and more into a fan-worship page as time passes. This has to end.

There should be no insinuations of how Melina is supposed to be this miracle of an athlete: for example, quoting an obscure fansite's newsitems that claimed EWF officials at one point felt that Melina had more ability then any of their other female students, without direct quotes from identified EWF officials themselves. Her ability in the ring speaks for itself to fans who watch her in action (for that matter she's a decent worker, but not even in the league of some of the greatest women wrestlers who have worked for the WWF/WWE). I didn't see anyone insinuating on Trish Stratus' page that she has this second-to-none ability of improving leaps and bounds in the ring within a few years, even though she is widely regarded as such even by non-fans.
There is also an issue with her ridiculously LONG list of supposed signature moves. This is about a select number of notable moves that she tends to use over and over again...not her entire moveset. It should also be noted that Melina has yet to wrestle as many matches as some of her better established peers, so the chances of her establishing a recurring pattern of familiar moves will only come as she is involved in more drawn-out and complex matches. Editors, please ensure that the movelist is trimmed, in spite of the amount of garbage one particular editor keeps trying to add in.
This is an online encyclopedia entry about Melina Perez, NOT a free platform for people to post fansite material on. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Haleth (talkcontribs) 14:31, 27 March 2007 (UTC).

Ring Names

1. When was Melina called "Melanie Little Deer"? Is there a source? 2. Is it possible that we can make it so that "Kyra" redirects here, since Kyra was her ring name for a long time. 70.16.133.35 20:06, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Married?

I'm hearing rumors that she is married to Nitro. Anyone have a way to verify? Also, i'm hearing rumors that she was in an adult movie. Again, looking for sources.Sephiroth storm 22:55, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

No shes not married! Jerry "The King" Lawler and Jim Ross said it on television once during one of her matches! I dont believe that she was in an adult movie because of what she says about playboy and being nude!
yeah i doubt that she was in an adult movie, but i wish she was. but she acts all weird about posing nude so i doubt she'd do more then that. --Deathtopplintheir40s 11:39, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

FACEBUSTER -- Not "Melina Buster"

While the SVR2007 might have her spinning facebuster named the Melina Buster, like the debate always on the Lita discussion section, moves in the games are not the real names. It has never been called a Melina Buster on TV or WWE.com. The SVR2007 game doesn't even call it a Melina Buster, only the website does. Until it is called that by commentators or listed on WWE.com, it should remain simply a "Charging spinning facebuster". 70.16.133.35 16:02, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Inverted Bulldog vs Inverted DDT: Finisher on 6-18-07

First and foremost, I believe the move she used was an inverted leg drop bulldog. Look at Big Show and Matt Sydal, they use the same moves and it's listed on their pages as an inverted leg drop bulldog. For those of you who believe it is an inverted DDT, how can you argue the precedence? One such user noted in the edit summary that "a bulldog drops on face/chin and inverted DDTs drop on the back of head, therefore inverted DDT;" no one is arguing her move is a standard bulldog. It's listed as an inverted bulldog because the victim is facing the opposite direction. Therefore, rather than being dropped on their face, they're dropped on the back of the head. Lastly, look at the article for the inverted leg drop bulldog. It explicitly says, An inverted version of this sees the attacking wrestler drop the opponent on the back of their head. This can be achieved by first holding an opponent in an inverted facelock or by simply grabbing the opponent and forcibly leaning them back before lifting one of their legs over the opponent's head and dropping to a sitting position. Sounds like Melina's new move to me. In all reality, we're just interchanging the terms "DDT" and "bulldog;" if you look at the section of DDT in Pro wrestling throws, it explains the DDT is similar to the bulldog. We're both right, but I think we should stick with inverted bulldog over inverted DDT due to the precedence and because the link associated with bulldog has a description of her move.

As an aside, I wonder if it's even necessary to add the move on her page. She's only finished one match with it as of now, so maybe we should wait until she uses it more often. I don't know what's the standard practice for adding a new finisher. WikiFew 20:42, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
Personally, I don't think it should be included at all. Like you said, she has only used it once. A move shouldn't be added to anyone's list until they use it regularly. Nikki311 20:44, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
A great explanation WikiFew, but with the variations you mentioned, they do not grab their opponent in an inverted headlock to begin the move, which Melina clearly did, which makes the move she did a DDT. But since there is precedence, and an explanation for changing the name of the move, it shall remain, I was just against people changing the name without any explanation, which looked to be vandalism. Fr3nZi3 19:48, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
When did she called the move LA Hotshot?? But i know its her finisher, if you go to the POWER 25, next to her ranking they said that it was her new finisher. --anonymous june 24,2007 12:04pm
I think it should be a DDT because wouldnt an inverted bulldog be like in Matt Hardy's "Side Effect" move position? Because if you turn the opponents body the opposite to make a bulldog inverted, its not the same position as Melina's move. Anyone understand what Im saying? 70.16.133.35 22:46, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Melina's new finisher is the inverted leg drop bulldog. She has used it again on July 2, 2007's RAW. 75.7.241.14 22:28, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Lead section

The lead section should be rewritten. It doesn't comply to WP:LS in the sense that it introduces new information that isn't in the actual article. All the text about her (former) ring entrance and its description should be removed and the introduction should discuss more about her career and life outside of wrestling. - Deep Shadow 07:53, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

Pictures

Yea this page needs some new pics. I mean she looks like she has no make-up on and her skin is very oily. And that second pic, bad picture. It doesn't even fit in. 75.7.250.218 05:11, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Since When?

Since when is Melina's finisher a Guillotine leg drop? Her finsher is an Inverted Leg Drop Bulldog. Get it right! 75.8.54.152 19:54, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

Ok, then tell me who EVER called it an inverted leg drop bulldog. J.R called it a guillotine leg drop, WWE.com's results called it a Guillotine Leg Drop. and how in the bloody world did you get "Bulldog" from a leg drop? ppl use their arms for bulldog AND they use it from behind their necks. ppl stop changing it!
JR also calls Mickie James DDT and Impaler DDT, when it is clearly not, JR has also called Lita's moonsault, the Litacanrana--should we change those too? JR makes a lot of mistakes, yes the move is a leg drop, but it is an inverted leg drop bulldog, which is what it is called on Big Show's and Matt Sydal's pages.

Because JR says something, doesn't make it right. The move is an inverted leg drop bulldog, or a modified split-legdrop reverse DDT...anyone who changes it is a vandal. --Fr3nZi3 19:16, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

The person who wrote the 2nd comments rite, i read wwe.com and it said in the result section that melina used her new finisher, the guillotine leg drop, and defeated mickie james
http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/results/ read the 5th last paragraph, the archive would be July 16
Guillotine Leg Drop suits perfectly, instead of that mouthful reverse leg drop bulldog split pin blah blah!
yea the link u have listed confims nothing that her finisher is called a Guillotine Leg Drop. i am not sure what the finisher is called so I am trying to find some information. 71.158.157.194 17:09, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

the link already expired... go to the archives in RAW, at July 16

yea but have u ever played the series of smackdown vs raw? the guillotine leg drop on there doesn't even look like melina's finisher.

Signature Moves

A lot of them need to be removed because the section is too big and has a lot of moves that don't belong there like. Standing headscissor takedown variations - hasn't done it a lot Giant swing - did it 2 or 3 times only Modified Rope hung Boston crab - again only 1 or 2 times Inverted DDT - did it only 1 time Flying double axe handle - I've seen it only once Pendulum backbreaker submission - hasven't seen her do this ever Oh and the Extreme Makeover finisher was used only once and it shouldn't be there. Her other finishers have been done a lot more times. What are your opinions?

80.80.140.50 07:55, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Leave her finishers, she has them and she will use them whenever shes at the right position (California Dream - opponent on floor)

(Extreme Makeover - Opponent running) (Guillotine Leg Drop - Standing manouever) Leave Giant Swing and inverted DDT, i guess everything else in the list above can go bye bye

I meant the turnbuckle climb Extreme Makeover that she did to Maria once.Only once. She has done the California Dream/Kyrapractor outside the WWE.She has used the Guilotine Leg Drop 3 times. And she has done her running facebuster on Smackdown a lot.So I think that the Extreme Makeover should be removed.I'm removing those signature moves that aren't needed. Also I was wondering if the Snap Suplex should be removed.Another thing I noticed is that someone added two moves that she did to Candice at the GAB and they are Cross-arm split-leg rear mat slam and Split leg shoulder neckbreaker. As far as I know she used those only once so they shoudn't be added as signature moves just yet.

80.80.140.50 19:10, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

I removed Standing headscissor takedown variations and Pendulum backbreaker submission because she hasn't done those moves.

80.80.140.50 16:16, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Isnt Extreme Makeover the running facebuster? i know she did another move on RAW a long time ago BUT maybe she just modified it, ever thought of that? i mean, why would she do it just once? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.74.9.8 (talk) 12:52, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Is Melina Half white(Caucasian) and half Mexican or is she full mexican and born in the U.S.??

This is bull shit! She is Mexican or if you have to call her by an american name. She is CHICANA!, and white a holes are supressing her real identity. Extreme Makover described wrong

It says Melina's Extreme Makeover is a "Springboard spinning 180 degrees facebuster", number 1, that is wrong, she doesnt run 180 degrees for Extreme Makeover, it looks like a bulldog, but she doesnt land on her butt, she lands on her stomach, the creators of SVR 08 animated Melinas move and now everyone can see that it isnt a hundered eighty degrees, so i guess we could change it to just Springboard Facebuster, cuz all she does is jump off the ropes (springboard) and give them a (facebuster), lol —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.74.9.8 (talk) 19:53, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Why was Melinas hight changed to 5'5'

She cant grow any more so why was it changed?!She is 5'4' and every web site in the world says so exept for "Wikipedia" Who claims to know everything but just gets false information and shoves it where they feel like it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.246.93.56 (talk) 02:23, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Batista comment

It is not necessary to have the Batista comment under Melina's personal life because 1) He didn't say he had a sexual relationship with Melina, he said he had a physical relationship with her - that's open to interpretation. 2) It hasn't been comfirmed by Melina 3) Its irrelevant to her wrestling career.

Someone remove it please. --Fr3nZi3 19:42, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

I disagree. It can be changed to say a physical relationship, since that is what the source says, but it does affect her personal life. She doesn't have to confirm it, as the information can say "Batista claims to have had..." It was in his book, which makes it public knowledge, and thus it is appropriate to include. The articles are not just about their wrestling career, but their overall life. Part of making Good Articles is having a comprehensive article that talks about all aspect of the person's life. Nikki311 21:22, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

Sorry but it just seems to be that Fr3nZi3 just wants to believe that Melina and Batista are not having any kind of relationship because he dosnt want to think of Melina like that. I have come across this in many online forums such as 1 for Christy Hemme. And as Nikki311 said, it is relivent. --Metal to the Max! 11:04, 15 November 2007 (UTC) ps:Fr3nZi3 got owned!

Melina Perez page move

* The following conversation was taken from Lex94's talk page and Deep Shadow's talk page

Lex94 moved Melina Perez to Melina Pérez with the comment "Her name has an accent (Like Carly Colón)". However, since no evidence has been provided to prove this, I have no choice but to move the page back. In future, please discuss potentially controversial page moves on the article talk page first, especially when there are no reliable sources to support them. - Deep Shadow 01:38, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

I am a native speaker of Spanish, and Perez does have an accent. There is no proof beyond the Spanish grammatical rules:

1. Here's a good tutorial site where you can see the acentuation rules in Spanish:[1]

Pérez falls under Grave, and because it does not end with a vowel, n, or s, it has to be acentuated.

But if Melina doesn't spell it with an accent, we can't say she's wrong. I think it's retarded that Adam Jones calls himself Pacman Jones, but I am not trying to get his article moved. The same thing applies here, she doesn't use the accent and neither should we. TJ Spyke 02:08, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
I see that on her myspace, she has absoulutely NO comprehension of grammatical and ortographical rules, so you can't just assume that she prefers her name without the "`" on the E. It could be she just hates needing to type ALT+130, to make a é. But still, even if she says her name is Perez, it still doesn't change the fact that it is really Pérez Lex94 Talk Contributions Signatures 02:21, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Uh-huh, next time you see her in person be free to tell here she spells her own name wrong. It may bug you, but she does not use any accent in her name and it would be incorrect for us to put one in her name (I just got Lilian Garcia's article moved to the correct name after showing that she doesn't use one in her name either). Just by following Wikipedia guidelines, her article is at the correct spot (without the accent). TJ Spyke 02:29, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Well first off Melina does not actually have a myspace page. Any page you see is a fan. She doesn't use an accent just as many others with the last name do not either. But is it REALLY all that important? knetik28 23:29, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Oh comon!

Melina has been noted for taking really great pictures, yet you only have two pics. of her and they aint even good ones ok!Please add better pics. to her page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.246.93.7 (talk) 23:03, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia uses free images, so therefor, if you can take a picture of Melina yourself then it could be used, but any pics from say....WWE.com would be copyright and not allowed to be used. --Metal to the Max! 11:06, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

What?!

You people have added information about all of the other WWE superstars entrance theme songs, but not Melinas!Plaese add that to her page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.246.93.7 (talk) 23:12, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

GA Review on Hold

I’m starting to review this article for GA so this is my initial comments, more may come before the process is over. I’ve put the process on hold as I’ve found quite a few things as you can see. I didn’t want to just fail it without giving people a chance to fix it so it’s on hold for up to a week. MPJ-DK 13:23, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

  • General
  • Please add {{persondata|PLEASE SEE [[WP:PDATA]]!}} along with the required parameters to the article - see Wikipedia:Persondata for more.
  • References are generally preferred at the end of the sentences.
  • Coverage, this is 99% about Melina the wrestler, just a scattered sentence here and there about her as a person or anything else, one of the GA criterias is "broad in its coverage", which she's got a hard time passing right now.
  • Comment, I'm pretty sure we got all we could about her personal life. I'll keep looking, though, until the week is up. Nikki311 03:53, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Sources - I'm not sure "ringbabes.com" is any kind of reliable source? to mean it reads like a fansite and nothing more.
  • Comment - It is one of her two official websites. Ringbabe.net is the original, and melina-perez.org is the new address. The disclaimer at ringbabe.net states "This website is affiliated with Melina Perez and runs with her input, but is not affiliated with the WWE, and is non-profit." - Deep Shadow 14:55, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
That's good enough for me, not a problem any more. MPJ-DK 18:43, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Lead Section
  • The lead text is completely unsourced, a fact should be sourced the first time it’s mentioned – not just in the main text.
  Done Nikki311 20:55, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
  • This line doesn’t read right to me "After becoming interested in wrestling, Melina entered the independent circuit before joining WWE in 2004" – general readability is an issue and the use of "Independent circuit" without any kind of explanation is confusing to a non fan. Now if it had mentioned the "independent pro wrestling circuit" it’d be alright – but right now it could be an electrical circuit for all anyone knows. It’s important to remember it’s not written for wrestling fans specifically.
  Done Nikki311 00:30, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
  • I’d suggest "as well as managed boyfriend and… " in the lead text.
  Done Nikki311 00:30, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Lead text "she is also", only use also if the sentence already refers to something else, which it does not.
  Done Nikki311 00:30, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Early Career
  • "Mike Henderson" is mentioned without explaining who he is or why he’s important? For all we know he could be a man in the street.
  •   Done
  • "Perez's pro-wrestling debut was in 2002 on a tour of the independent wrestling scene" Her debut wasn’t "on a tour", it was at a specific event unless it was the "Melina tours the indies 2002" Tour like a rock band ;) can you please specify the place or at least make it seem less like she was Misawa touring the US Indies.
  •   Done
  • "where she wrestled for years" – looking at the math it was 2 years at the most, "for years" makes it seem like she was there for years and years and years.
  •   Done
  • Comment - I rearranged and rewrote certain sentences in a way that should take care of these notes. - Deep Shadow 16:27, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
  • World Wrestling Entertainment
  • " when Matt Cappotelli kayfabe brought her in as a way to taunt her ex-boyfriend John Hennigan" is not only poorly worded but also blurring the truth/storyline divide. Unless he really was her ex? And I’d honestly recommend that Kayfabe be used as little as possible since it’s a wrestling-centric term – terms like "storyline" and the likes are more easily understood, likening wrestling to TV or movies in that regard.
  • "On November 10, the trio, now known as MNM, won the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship" – that’s actually down right wrong, Mercury & Nitro won it, Melina didn’t win the tag team titles so the "trio" didn’t win.
  • " but ultimately returned to OVW and MNM", since I don’t know her career I’m asking. Did she leave OVW during this time or did she just make a few guest spots? Unless she actually left OVW and stopped managing MNM "ultimately returned" is not right in this connection.
  • "It was also during her stint in OVW" – the "Also" seems misplaced.
  • 2005
  • " MNM made their debut in WWE as a heel tag team on the April 14, 2005 edition of SmackDown! by interrupting the first ever Carlito's Cabana interview segment, where one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Rey Mysterio, was a guest" – is a bit long and awkward IMO.
  Done Nikki311 20:26, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
  • "giving them their first WWE Tag Team Title reign" – it’s either "started their first reign" or "gave them their first title", you decide.
  Done Nikki311 20:26, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Consider using the word "Persona" or "character" instead of "gimmick", since that’s the less wrestling-centric term for the same thing.
  • The sentence starting with "She also started wrestling" suffers from Independent clause-itis.
  • Again I’d suggest rewording all phrases where it says "kayfabe" to a less wrestling-centric term.
  Done Nikki311 20:22, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
  • The term jobbing should be avoided if possible, especially since she just lost a match due to interference, not like she was treated like a jobber. It’s wrestling lingo, if possible avoid it.

  • Show names should either always be in italics or never, pick one and go with it (WP:MOS suggest italics).
  • Comment - I don't know to what you are referring. Is there anything specific? - Deep Shadow 16:45, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Show names should be in italics, as MPJ-DK said MOS suggests italics, so instead of it being "RAW, SmackDown and ECW" it should be "RAW, SmackDown! and ECW". Davnel03 19:20, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Davnel03, I understand the MoS. I'm asking what specific examples could be given for this note. The show names are in italics, that's what I don't understand. - Deep Shadow 20:23, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Great American Bash, SUrvivor Series, Armageddon etc. a lot of the PPV names aren't in Italics. MPJ-DK 07:37, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
  • The MoS refers to films and television series', it says nothing about pay-per-views. Television shows and film names can be in italics but something like the 2005 Great American Bash is neither. To refer to a pay-per-view as a whole it can be in italics but to refer to a certain year in a pay-per-view can be considered "chapters of a longer work". I will bring this up at WPT:PW so we can get more opinions and if I am wrong about this, I will change the names to italics but if the consensus agrees, this note should be struck through. - Deep Shadow 18:19, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Go ahead and get a consensus, to me it's a "Television show" or Television series if you will with one annual episode. But by all means let's get a consensus on the matter, it's always good to have a general guideline. MPJ-DK 18:43, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Even still, the Great American Bash (GAB) as a whole would be the name of the show, but the GAB 2005 would be the episode title and episode names are not italicised. And while I am aware that in the article it is listed as the GAB and not the GAB 2005 (due to the event being in the 2005 section of this article and thus is redundant), it refers to the 2005 event as that is what is being discussed. However, the MoS does say that episodes and chapter titles should be in double quotation marks so, to compromise, would you be okay if pay-per-views were placed in those instead of italics? - Deep Shadow 20:23, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
  • "During this time, MNM was set to defend their Tag Title at Armageddon in a match against The Mexicools but before the event," – this seems totally independent to the main topic, the angle with Batista and should be removed since it’s just trivia.
Done and   Not done - I fixed the first part by removing the part about the Mexicools altogether, since that really has nothing to do with Melina herself. However, I left the part about Batista. I consider it important, especially in light of the fact that he really had an affair with Melina a year later. I think we need another opinion on this one. Nikki311 20:51, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
  • I think it was just the part about the Mexicools that this note referred to. He was saying that it had nothing to do with the Batista angle (the main topic). Don't worry, I thought the same thing as you when I first read this note. - Deep Shadow 20:56, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Okay. That makes sense now. Thanks for pointing that out. Nikki311 00:13, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
  • The press conference angle should be described in a way that there is no doubt it was a storyline, it’s a WP:BLP violation otherwise.

  • 2006
  • "With the angle continuing into the next year, on the first SmackDown! of 2006 Melina announced that Henry was her personal protection against Batista." – this sentence doesn’t sound right, you may want to totally rewrite it.

  • " while rekindling her feud with Trish Stratus" – they feuded before? That’s not mentioned in the article (just that they had a match)
  • Specify which Saturday Night’s Main Event the match took place, that’s like saying "At Clash of the Champions", be a bit more specific if you could.
  • Again with the kayfabe, if the term is to be used then please find a better useage of it than "her career was kayfabe endangered" cause to me that reads rather poor.

  • " Melina was booked to win the Women's Championship" – the way it’s worded I’m sitting there thinking "Melina was booked to win the Women's Championship but???", the phrasing almost suggest that it didn’t happen – not just past tense of "is booked to win", could just be me though.
  Done Nikki311 03:53, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
  • " due to Ashley's attention toward her appearance in Playboy" – I’m pretty sure this is worded wrong, it was the attention Ashley got not the attention Ashley gave right? "Ashley’s attention" is posessive, so it was her attention – unless she was totally selfobsessed about the Playboy apperance this is worded wrong.
  Done Nikki311 00:11, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

  • I’m sorry but the "Signature moves" list is way to big and crufty IMO, they’re not ALL her signature moves – granted the definition of "signature moves" isn’t clear but 20 is outside the boundaries of a "reasonable definition"
Done I removed some generic ones...someone else with better knowledge of moves needs to go in and clean out any others. Nikki311 17:34, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Double team moves – usually only listed for regular tag teams, were Melina & Hall or Melina & Victoria ever considered a regular tag team? I’m not sure but I lean towards no and deleting this section.
Done I agree and have wanted to delete it for awhile now. Nikki311 17:34, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
  • "Nicknames" – can’t it be worked into the prose instead? In an attempt to make the bottom section less "listy" and all.

  • Generally this just a list but without the bullet points, there is no flow, nothing but a few disjointed sentences that come off more as "trivia" than anything else.
Done Removed the information about favorite television shows, because really is nothing more than trivia. I also tried to add some transitions, but there isn't much out there about her personal life, so this is the little info we have. Nikki311 14:38, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Awesome work you guys, it looks like more or less the entire list has been addressed (except the italics issue which I'll go with whatever consensus there might be, it's not going to prevent a GA on it's own.) So basically what I'm planning on doing now is to give it one more review, not looking at my old points - just a fresh read through and then my comments today or tomorrow, depending on how time treats me. MPJ-DK 12:33, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

Nice job, and a few comments

A nice job you guys are doing with the article, I agree that the signature move list was a little long, but I noticed that you deleted some vital signature moves that Melina uses, I have gone and readded them. Also, I have noticed that Melina uses a lot of variations of particular moves, so rather than having them as a list, I have added them together, so the signature move list doesn't look way too big.

Also, I see that you were against tag team signature moves, however, Melina has used the spinning facebuster with Jillian Hall as a finisher, so that is definitely notable, and the seated senton she does with Victoria is notable as well as the Bite of The Dragon into the savate kick, so I have gone and added those too, I hope you agree with my edits. :)

Nice job guys. ;) --Fr3nZi3 18:23, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

I've removed the double team maneuvers. If the moves aren't listed at Lisa Marie Varon's or Jillian Hall's pages, then why should it be here? - Deep Shadow 20:31, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

I'll agree to that. She is not and has never been specifically a tag team wrestler. Nikki311 20:56, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Fair enough. I can see your reasoning behind that. --Fr3nZi3 04:03, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Disinterest in Playboy

It says under her personal life, she has expresses a distinterest in playboy. I believe this is merely her character. She herself has not said no publically to playboy.

Oh so what are you saying, the on screen Melina wont pose but the off screen Melina will, hmm do you see something wrong with that, for her to pose then it will be exposed in the WWE therefor if she were interested then she would not have been chosen for the storyline. --Metal to the Max! 11:40, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

It's called a character twist. If WWE wantd her to be face they could twist it around. Plus announcers have hinted tht she is just jealousy that she hasn't been asked. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.108.249.169 (talk) 05:31, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

You guys should add a trivia section to the page! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.246.93.13 (talk) 01:38, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

You suggested adding a trivia section to this article, and there is no such section on the Mickie James page. I agree with you about the Dallas Cowboys reference but the horseback riding notes are important. It's obvious you're a Melina fan, but there is no need to vandalise Mickie James' article talk page just because you like Melina over her. Did she win the #1 contenders match? No. Did the storyline about Hornswoggle go anywhere? No. Because nothing really happened in either of these instances, it can not be included. Only information that is important in a person's overall life/career are included. This is an encyclopedia, not a wrestling news site. Week by week events are not included. Nikki311 03:59, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Melina and John Hennigan are still together?!

I have resently visited Wretslezone.com and they have interviewed John Morrison and asked him if he was still with Melina and he said that they were.It also said,so much for the Batista&Melina thing that has been confusing people. Here is where I got my info. http://WWW.wretslezone.com/article.php?articleid=194904570&vo=430 .Or if that dose not work then just go to wrestle zone.com and look for the interview. Please try to figure out if Morrison or Batista is dating Melina.(They should just interview Melina and ask her who is she really dating and get it over with alredy)-and if you guys only added that Melina and Morrison have broken up just because Batista has said so in his interviews then you should really consider adding what John hennigan(Morrison)has said in his interview too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.246.93.179 (talk) 02:27, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

The match had no storyline or feud to build it up. If it were included, it would read like a random note. - Deep Shadow 09:07, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

I wouldn't say its not relevant because it had no build-up or storyline, because several people earn title matches randomly, like London and Kendrick and Jesse and Festus, and those are put on the site. We add those kind of things if Melina had been gone for some time or if she was rarely used in the ring, but she's there EVERY week. I agree with Deep Shadow, but for other reasons, if that made any sense what I just said.--Lord Dagon (talk) 18:40, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

I hate to interfere in these sort of disputes, but I've seen the commercial as well, and I have this to say - No, it's not a major part of her career, but it COULD be included, not should. That's what Personal Life and Other Media sections are for, but if you add it and it gets deleted, then there was a good reason it was taken down. And when she changed her attire to match MNM from regular clothes to proper attire, with the MNM design thing on the legs? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.110.114.162 (talk) 20:10, 6 January 2008 (UTC) I think that thats an excellent idea! They should definately add that because obviously Melina pays more attention to her in ring attire than any other diva! And they arent fluffy boots, they are furry leg-warmers because boots cover every thing and leg warmers only cover the shin area. But yea,you guys should totally add info about her attire and the MNM signature design on her clothes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.246.93.231 (talk) 00:08, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Stattistics

Under the stattistics box where it says 'debut' you guys should add WWE debut and other wrestling debuts because people wont know wich wrestling company the wrestler debuted to. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.246.93.231 (talk) 00:21, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Every wrestler's infobox is identical with no options for debuts in specific promotions, only their professional debut. However, saying that people won't know which company the wrestler debuted in is not an argument because that information can usually be found in the prose, by people who aren't too lazy to actually read articles. - Deep Shadow 01:55, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

Hey,im not lazy!ok!I was just saying that it would be more helpfull if they added a debut for the diffrent types of wrestling companies theyve been to ok. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.246.93.60 (talk) 02:25, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

That isn't what you said, but if you are serious about getting these features implemented (although I seriously doubt they will be added), you could bring the issue up here or here. - Deep Shadow 09:07, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Flying double axe handle

Melina has used the flying double axe handle many times in her career, and also it is marked as a signiture move in the spanish and italian version so I think that it should be added to her signiture moves list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.246.93.60 (talk) 03:27, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

New pictures.

I think that there should be a new pic. of Melina added to her page or one of the old ones should be replaced!I have pics. safe for WIKIPEDIA TO USE but I don't know how to get them on here?!?!Can someone tell me how to show them,if its ok with the Wiki. people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.246.93.75 (talk) 20:19, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

I'm not the best editor we have here, but try going here, after having made an account first. Take a look at Wikipedia:Image use policy and Wikipedia:Copyrights#Image guidelines to see how to properly upload an image and handle all the copyright fun stuff. Also, try Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for a list of tags to indicate the legal status of the image. That help? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lord Dagon (talkcontribs) 18:50, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Entrance

Shouldn't there be something on her entrance, she has the entrance of the year and she does the splitz and is the only one with other people(Paparrazi)and that does the splits in her entrance, you know the whole Hollywood theme! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.246.93.63 (talk) 00:09, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Hey, dude, sorry, but entrances aren't notable, unless it can be backed up. Where did you get this "entrance of the year" thing? It's just not important to the article unless it receives a notable award, much like matches recieve "Match of the Year" and such.--Lord Dagon (talk) 19:07, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Resides

Where does Melina reside in?IDK,but shouldn't it be added on there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MNM 20098 (talkcontribs) 20:17, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Reasoning for the Paris, France title change.

Okay, I read it several times, and it's been up for a while. She dropped the title to Mickie James in Paris, and its been cited, which is good. I can't access the source, however, so I ask. Is the reasoning behind the title change in that one night true, or does it need a citation for itself? I'd appreciate someone letting me know, so I can try and find a reliable source.--Lord Dagon (talk) 19:03, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

"The Most Dominant Diva in the WWE"

All mentions of "the WWE" should be changed to just "WWE" per Wikipedia:Pw/td. So, should this be changed? She always says "in the WWE..." RandySavageFTW (talk) 15:16, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Once again,WHy Change her height!

Melina is 5'4,ok!Why must somone always screw that up?Every web site, fansite,Melina blog and biography say that she is 5'4! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.246.47.211 (talk) 16:03, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Whos The Fucktard!

Who the hell screwd up her moveset and all the other things???!!!!!!!

Fixed. Also, please see WP:CIVIL. Thanks. Nikki311 00:17, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Championships and Accomplishments

Are there citations for the two new Championships that have been added? I couldn't find any sources to prove that she held the UPW Women's Championship and, as far as I know, EWF doesn't even have a Women's Championship. 70.26.77.248 (talk) 01:09, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

Sunny Side Up????

Are there any citations that prooves that her finisher(sunset flip powerbomb)'s name is Sunny Side Up? I think that her finisher's name is Code Red([2]), or as Michael Cole said, Last Call.([3] or [4] )

I don't know that the name is Code Red or Last Call, but i definetily know that it isn't Sunny Side Up.

As far as the latest name is "Last Call", i'm changing it. Zeggy 557 (talk) 17:11, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Sadly her official site was shut down :-(

Here's a statement from the webmaster:

After nearly 7 years, I've come to the decision to close Melina-Perez.org. Many things caused this, chief among them being hosting problems (the website had too much traffic/visitors, and I would have to pay a ridiculous amount to keep it hosted). I still wholeheartedly support Melina and will keep track of her career, but I don't have the energy or finances to keep the site going. I've known Melina since she was a little-known wrestler in the indies, and there's no way I'd forget about her! She's become one of the WWE top draws, and I could never be more proud of her.

I appreciate everything she's done for me and my sister, from providing us with free tickets, signed DVDs, and even a meal. :P I can safely say that she is a fantastic wrestler, but she's 100 times the person you see on TV - she truly is a wonderful friend. Thank you to everyone who supported the site throughout the years - all the people who posted on the WeLoveMelina.com forums and all the other forum incarnations, as well as PJ, Blizzy, and all the rest. I've literally grown up running this site (from RingBabe.net when I was 13 years old to today being 20 years old), and I've loved every moment of it. I can never say it enough - thank you!!!

Hence it has been removed from the links section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.253.207.143 (talk) 08:30, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

So I took it down. Source FaithLehaneTheVampireSlayer 00:36, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Mexican Heritage

Isn't Melina the only woman of Mexican heritage to win the WWE Women's Championship?? I put that in there and somebody deleted it!Team French TKO (talk) 15:29, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

This is something very notable, if you can find a reliable source that can verify this, then by all means put it back in. Just don't forget to cite your source in the article. If you need help with this don't be afraid to ask! Bmg916Speak 15:39, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Hornswoggle feud

The mini-"feud" with Hornswoggle is not important to Melina's overall career. It didn't even last that long. Will anyone remember it a couple of years from now? Please explain why you consider it notable enough for inclusion...a consensus needs to be made before the article is edited again. Nikki311 20:46, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

It didn't last that long but it still happened. Melina lost a match because of Hornswoggle, and she even appeared in a segment with Vince McMahon concerning Hornswoggle. Melina's firing of Mick Foley only occured once, and most people have forgotten about it, but it still occured and is rightly included on her page. I belive the Hornswoggle fued should be, as it occured on WWE's flagship broadcast and was given significant coverage. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lewis1313 (talkcontribs) 23:41, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Return from injury

According to Melina's WWE Universe page, she is expected to return in May around Extreme Rules http://fans.wwe.com/the_paparazzi_diva_melina-perez

Later it was confirmed that I suffered a torn ACL. On January 4, 2010, I had to relinquished the Divas Championship due to her injury. I'am expected to miss six months of action. I'am expected to return around Exreme Rules in May.

Is this a reputable enough source? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jaguar83 (talkcontribs) 02:14, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Finisher Name

According to her twitter, Melina has changed the name of her inverted leg drop bulldog into a split–legged pin to the Sunset Split. If anybody wants to look into that, go to http://www.twitlonger.com/show/pbs3q for the tweet and http://twitter.com/RealMelina for her Twitter account. She mentioned this as being her real Twitter account on the Raw Live Chat at 10:57 on http://www.coveritlive.com/index2.php/option=com_altcaster/task=viewaltcast/altcast_code=ada7628697/template=wwe/width=643/height=700 and her April 7 blog on WWE Universe at http://fans.wwe.com/melina/blog/?pref_tab=blog. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.137.77.66 (talk) 18:36, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

I have changed the name to the real name, but I cannot be sure that some Wikipedia know-all won't come along and change it back to the fake name. The Primal Scream is the name of her scream, not of the move. Melina has named the move and I cited her naming the move. Fr3nZi3 (talk) 03:54, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Wrestling wikis are gay!

Almost every edit I make gets expunged from the record books. No need to comment back.45g (talk) 04:51, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

I totally understand your frustration. I often feel that Wikipedia wrestling pages are only for an elite few to edit, and what's sad about that is they are very frequently wrong. Many of these wrestling wikis are so riddled with errors, and the moment someone tries to change the information to the right things they are viciously attacked by Wikipedia wrestling elite and the page is reverted back to the erroneous information.

For example, most of the moves on this page are incorrectly or poorly named. But try changing them to the correct things and see how quickly they are changed back...--Fr3nZi3 (talk) 04:00, 10 May 2010 (UTC)

Signatures List

I really don't know enough about Melina to do this myself, but that list of signature moves looks way too long. Unless I've missed her epic iron man matches, I can't see how she'd have the time to make all of those moves signatures. 78.105.250.91 (talk) 17:01, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

Move the page, please

Can someone move the page to Melina Pérez? See Eric Pérez. --Hixteilchen (talk) 03:29, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

What is your source that her name has the accent sign? You must prove it before the page can be moved. Nikki311 03:45, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

I have Genickbruch.com as source. => http://www.genickbruch.com/index.php?befehl=bios&wrestler=865 It is the best German wrestling site and they always have the correct names. Second, "Pérez" is a Spanish name, it's like the German name "Müller" always written the same way. --Hixteilchen (talk) 16:50, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

That is not a reliable source because it doesn't have proven fact checking. Secondly, it is quite possible that her family dropped the accent. Nikki311 03:56, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Edit request from TOTESMICHAEL, 16 August 2010

{{editsemiprotected}} "Snapmare Driver (Unnamed)" is an additional signature maneuver. (Was utilized as a finishing maneuver on SummerSlam, and a signature maneuver on preceding Monday Night Raw uploads. TOTESMICHAEL (talk) 03:15, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

Not done: Please detail what you would like changed in a 'please change X to Y' degree of detail and provide reliable sources for any factual change. Thanks, Celestra (talk) 16:23, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

The Snapmare Driver is not a finisher.

She only beat Alicia Fox with that move because she tweaked her bad knee during the match and could do the Sunset Split or the Last Call. She only finished with that move because of her knee. This should be put on her signature moves list because this is only used as a signature.--Dragonslayer619 23:52, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Z True Long Island Story Appearence

I don't think Milena physically appeared in episode 22 of the show. When I saw it, it was a cardboard cutout of her that Zack's dad was carrying, and I dont believe that counts. Can I get someone to back me on that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.53.3.5 (talk) 15:00, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Melina Perez

Orphaned references

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Melina Perez's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
