Taxonomy edit

You really should look at a guide to plants and see what Taxonomy means. It should include: type of plant, growth habit, size, description of leaves and flowers including dimensions. Tyrerj (talk) 22:28, 16 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

"Taxonomy" has a range of meanings; see Taxonomy_(biology)#Definition for a sourced list. Plant articles (good ones anyway) are based on the template at WP:Plants/Template; see under "Taxonomy" there. WP:Plants has members who are professional botanists as well as many enthusiastic amateurs; we have discussed alternative subsection titles from time to time (e.g. "Systematics") but the consensus has been that "Taxonomy" is the best.
