"O'Sullivan was the point person in charge of the Afghan war for the White House." that is a vague statement that gives very little information. What time period, the only point person? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.232.46.165 (talk) 15:13, 21 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Uninformative Blather edit

There really needs to be something more substantive written about her first tour in Iraq. Right now, it says that she "...was involved with many key decisions on the political front, including helping to negotiate the early transfer of sovereignty to the Iraqis and assisting the Iraqis in writing their interim constitution. She is remembered for driving herself around Baghdad to meet with Iraqis, and endured some harrowing experiences while in Iraq, including escaping from a terrorist attack by scaling a building ledge ten stories up." That's boilerplate garbage, and Lord should I know it. Only one source is cited, too. More detail is required. 214.3.138.230 (talk) 13:47, 5 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

I agree it's a one-sided narrative of her position in Iraq as the early transfer of sovereignty without election gave the Shia majority of Iraq a perfect opportunity to open rebellion. It was a key decision indeed but also a disaster. 92.129.134.49 (talk) 15:45, 7 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
