M. rotundata article was well written and organized. However, there were some grammatical errors that I fixed. I added hyperlinks to sexual dimorphism, scopa, and alkenes, so that those who do not have a science background can still understand what is going on. Also, I reworded some sentence to make the article flow better. Some recommendations I would have for you is to expand more on taxonomy and phylogeny and add a section on communication among adults or larvae. Overall it was well thought out. Overall, the sections were well thought out and had lots of relevant information. Mohp7 (talk) 03:58, 23 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Overall this was a very well written and organized article, with most sections containing sufficient detail. However, I would recommend fleshing out the taxonomy and phylogeny section more. This could include more background on the genus, subgenus, or order. This could also include any close relatives or the origin of the genus. I made a few grammatical and sentence structure revisions throughout the article, as often it got unnecessarily wordy. I moved the last paragraph of nest construction to the nest dimensions subsection because that seems most relevant. There are a large number of links to Wikipedia pages that don’t exist yet, so you may consider removing those as they provide little value. Under mating behavior, it is described that males establish themselves at desirable sights, which I would imagine leads to competition but this is not described at all. Aside from the mating section under behavior, there is very little on within-species interactions, so I would recommend adding more of that if possible. Also are there any other bees with overlapping habitats they must compete with when foraging since they are such important pollinators? Kjkozak (talk) 04:45, 23 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Overall this article was well done - it was well researched and contained a lot of relevant content. I did make several changes. Like the previous two reviewers Mohp7 and Kjkozak, I found the taxonomy and phylogeny section to be too short. I went ahead and made it slightly longer by adding a sentence about the genus Megachile.

I also made several changes to the overview section. The other sections contained lots of very interesting and unique information about Megachile rotundata which I felt could be included in the overview to hook readrs. I went ahead and included information about its ability to bite as well as sting. I also added details about how farmers purchase M. rotundata prepupae to aid pollination and how they also fruits in addition to vegetables.
