Clean Up

Okay, this is confusing- this page has been put up for editing, but whoever has nominated it hasn't put anything on this talk page pertaining to Why this article needs editng... If somone could step up and explain this, then I'd be glad to fix it. But theres absolutely nothing wrong with article in my opinion, and this need for editing makes no sense. I didn't put this page up for "Clean Up", but it seems absolutely obvious to me what's wrong. The article looks unprofessional and minimal at best. Somebody seems to have taken huge chunks out of the article since I last saw it.

The information needs to be re-organised. It may need an introductory paragraph for newcomers to the series. Information on PETs and the Net Society as a whole, should be close to the top. There should be information on the major characters, with maybe a link to a new page featuring information on all the characters. The events of the original Battle Network Series should be split up into the games.

As for the alternate TV show version, perhaps that should be split off into a different article or a separate section may be created listing the differences between the TV show and the game series.

I'm actually quite against detailing what happens in the games/shows in detail, so maybe there should be a link to a separate article?

Know that I'm only just brainstorming here. The layout really needs to be thought out a little bit more, but here's my suggestion. If any of you approve of it, please say so.

Introduction

This section should detail the following:

• A few sentences detailing what exactly the games/show is about.
• Where the games/show are set.
• When the games/show are set.
• That the games/show take place in an alternate Universe to the Classic series.
• Have a sentence saying that there's difference between game and show, which will be discussed later.

Net Society

• How it came to be
• What is it like? (Geography, Message Boards, Squares etc.)
• PETs
• Battle Chips
• Virus Busting

etc. etc.

The Games

• 1st Game. General information, then subdivide into:
  • Major events
  • Defining features

And so on for the rest of the games.

Characters

• Good Guys
• NetMafia (subdivide this category into:)
  • WWW
  • Gospel
  • Nebula
• Others

TV Show

Brief description of how the show is different, then list the differences according to:

• Backstory Events
• Good Characters
• Bad Characters

May wish to split this section up into Differences and Events that occur in the show.

After finding out there is already a Megaman Battle Network article dedicated to what I proposed in my above post, I am now proposing for the re-arrangement of the article to this layout:

• Introduction (already present)
• Backstory
• Megaman Battle Network 1 Story Event
  • Armour
• Megaman Battle Network 2 Story Event
  • Styles
• Megaman Battle Network 3 Story Event
  • Custom Styles
• Megaman Battle Network 4 Story Event
  • Custom Styles
• Megaman Battle Network 5 Story Event
  • Custom Styles

No, Instead I propose that we simply make it like all the other Megaman character pages:

• History
• Personality
• Abilities
• Style change and Soul Unison links
• And we use the info box that all the character pages have.
