Hello there! Thank you for renominating this article to Good Article Nominations after 8 years from the first review (I saw the note to this nomination). Unfortuantely, I will have to quickfail this review as, like the first review, there are too many unreferenced parts that makes this a long way from passing Criteria #2 Verifiable with no original research. In order to help you determine which parts of the article needs citation, I've written them all down below:

Parts that have no citations edit

  • History: Opening paragraph about landmarks/mosques.
    • Under Muhammad and the Rashidun: first paragraph about Yathrib
    • Battle of Uhud: first paragraph.
    • Battle of the Trench: first paragraph.
    • Umayyad Caliphate: first paragraph about Mu'awiyah I,
    • Under the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia: All four paragraphs in this section are unreferenced.
  • Geography - Elevation: All of this section is uncited.
    • Climate: All of the sentences before the climate data table are uncited.
  • Signifincance in Islam: All of the opening paragraph is uncited about the Quran and their mosques.
  • Demographics - Religion: All of this section is unreferenced.
  • Sports: These sentences need citations.

Parts that need some citations edit

  • History - Etymology: Sentences abot the naming for Taybah and Tabah, also naming of Madinah
    • Under the 'Aws and Khazraj: sentences in the last paragraph about Muhammad and the Battle of Bu'ath
    • First Ottoman period: last two sentences about gates and the Prophet's Mosque.
    • Destruction of heritage: last sentence about the demolition of al-Baqi.
  • Geography - Most of the sentences in this section about the location of Medina and it's districts.
  • Significance in Islam - The Prophet's Mosque: Most of the first parapgraph and all of the second paragraph need citations.
    • Quba's Mosque: Sentences about the mosque in the Qur'an and Muhammad going to Quba'a.
    • Masjid al-Fath: Sentence about Sunni sources.
  • Human resources - Higher education and research: Two issues here. A circular reference tag about Al Madinah College of Technology needs to be fixed. Also, the sentence about private universities needs a citation.
  • Transport - Air: the last sentence about Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport's being busy during the Haji needs a citation.
    • Roads: The second paragraph about the highways and ring roads of Medina needs citations.

Overall, my main concern is that there are over 10 paragraphs that have no citations, with nine of them in the history section. Of these nine paragraphs, I noticed that Under the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has four paragraphs that are uncited. While geography, climate, significance in Islam, demographics and sports are also uncited, the History section has the most parts that are unreferenced. Similarly, there are sentences that need additional references in four parts of the History sections. Of the rest of the article, three sections of Significance in Islam, two sections of Transport, and one section of both Geography and Human resources need citations. Because there are a lot of unreferenced paragraphs that have no citations, I will have to quickfail this article because it is a long way from passing Criteria #2 Verifiable with no original research. As many parts of the History subsections are unreferenced or need addtional citations, I recommend that you focus on this part first. Then, the majority of these verification issues would be cleared up. Thank you for renominating this article after 8 years! I hope this review does not discourage you from renominating in the future. Instead, I hope it encourages you to work on this article and help it reach GA criteria.
