We’d like to add a little more depth by describing how pharmacists work with providers to improve patient care, how MTM works, where people can find these services, and the different types of MTM available. We will be adding at least 2 new sections to this page.

There is no reason to limit content to readers interested in learning more about MTM. I expanded on a statement already present about Medicare in the US by adding what criteria an enrollee should meet to qualify for these services. Rather than deleting, this might provide interest for other members of Wikipedia to add more information about how MTM is implemented in other countries. All statements made have sources. 1. Does the draft submission reflect a neutral point of view? If not, specify…

Currently, the draft submission does reflect a general neutral point of view given that it is defining what Medication Therapy Management is. However, the first line "Medication Therapy Management (MTM) is a variety of health related services provided by a health care provider, typically a pharmacist." needs to have a reference in regards to the pharmacist address. For an inexperienced reader, this line would direct them only to pharmacist, but does not mention other specialties that may be involved. Unless referenced, the last part should be removed to maintain neutrality and keep with the basic definition.

Another area that requires a reference point is: "The standard of care for MTM is comprehensive medication management (CMM), which can often take an hour. Most community pharmacists do not have time to conduct these services, so it is common for pharmacists to do focused MTMs, which specifically target a disease state that is most relevant to the patient's health." which sounds like this is only the case for larger corporations such as Walgreens or CVS. 2. Are the points included verifiable with cited secondary sources that are freely available? If not, specify… There is a minor error in the citation link to cms.gov (currently links to cms.cov, which does not exist). My only comment is that the citation for "The standard of care for MTM is comprehensive medication management (CMM), which can often take an hour" appears to be to an article for Pharmacy Times, in which the author says that he "has been told that CMM can take 60 minutes to accomplish." I am hesitant to cite something that is stated as hearsay in the source as true verification of this point, and recommend finding a more evidence-based source for this point if possible. 3. Are the edits formatted consistent with Wikipedia’s manual of style? If not, specify… The edits formatted are consistent with Wikipedia's style. The format is consistent with Wikipedia's manual of style. Typically, there is a definition of the topic explained at the top of the page followed by various subtopics. However, I believe some subtopics can be better categorized. For instance: "Type" doesn't entirely define the information that were explained underneath. In terms of the reference formatting, the reference should go before the punctuation mark i.e. "MTM services is a comprehensive review of a patient as a whole, incorporating a patient’s various disease states and regimens [7]". Furthermore, since Wikipedia is a global Encyclopedia, it'd be helpful to move away from US focused topics. Kimhvo (talk) 18:55, 8 November 2018 (UTC)

If yes, specify… After reading the wikiarticle and comparing the information to corresponding cited articles, I do not think there is any evidence of plagiarism or copyright violation. Of note, while I was peer reviewing (at 11/7/18 20:00), another fellow wiki user was editing the page to its current state (11/8/18 16:00). In regards to the information was that written before it was deleted, I think the group did a great job at summarizing and re-writing the information. The "Types" section pulled relevant information and reworded it without plagiarising the original source. For the Medicare Part D section, they concisely summarized the keys points about how to qualify for MTM services as a Medicare part D patient. The only discrepancy I found is the 2018 threshold value, which I couldn't find in that specific source. Overall, I think the group did a great job in rewording and summarizing the information in their own words. This peer review was based on the edits made by the students originally before it was removed as of 11/8/18. Originally, there was a statement that positively support the use the MTM. The sentence states: “Ultimately, MTM promotes patient empowerment and compliance by helping to enforce their understanding of their medication.” This statements promotes a positive image and support of MTM which is not a neutral perspective.--Mia.lim (talk) 21:33, 9 November 2018 (UTC)

Formatting was not always consistent with Wikipedia’s manual of style (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style), specifically:

• Any punctuation must precede the ref tags.
  • "Medicare Part D is overseen by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) [10]."
• Use straight apostrophes ('), not curly apostrophes (’).
  • "MTM services is a comprehensive review of a patient as a whole, incorporating a patient’s various disease states and regimens.[7]"
• If an article has at least four section headings, a navigable table of contents appears automatically, just after the lead.

Line 13 → Great job pulling information from the source and providing a comprehensive overview of the topic. I would suggest adding a citation for the explanation of a focused MTM and the specific disease states in which it prioritizes.

Line 10 → I am having some difficulty finding the three general criteria in the cited source. Is there a more specific source that can be used to show this information?

Overall, I really like the group effort to reword the information and to ultimately avoid the possibility of plagiarism.
