I have just added archive links to one external link on Meade Instruments. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Whence the company name "Meade"? Thanks, Maikel (talk) 23:58, 3 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed Changes edit

Hello. My name is Frank Johnson. I am the Director of eMarketing at Orion Telescopes & Binoculars, new owners of Meade Instruments. I would like to suggest some factual changes to the Meade Instruments page in light of the June 1 acquisition, but I obviously have a conflict of interest.

Here are our proposed changes:

1. In the summary box (with the Meade logo), please consider making the following changes:

    a. Change Headquarters to "Watsonville, California, United States"
    b. Change Key people to "Peter Moreo, President" (both Victor Aniceto and John Elwood) are no longer with the company
    c. Change Owner to "Optronic Holding Corp"

2. Change "Meade Instruments Corporation" and "Meade Instruments Corp." to simply "Meade Instruments" wherever it makes sense in light of the acquisition. For example, we think the first paragraph should now reference "Meade Instruments" (the existing company - Meade Instruments Corporation no longer exists), but in the last paragraph under Origins And History, it makes sense to leave "Meade Instruments Corp." because that's the company that filed bankruptcy.

3. Change references to Irvine, California to Watsonville, California (in the first paragraph for example).

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns, and thanks for your consideration. Also let me know if I can provide anything that would help you to consider this request.
