May be best to make separate entries for the DC Maz and the mythological Mazikeen. In that case, it'd be nice to have another source or two for the latter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.22.21.126 (talkcontribs) 11:03, 21 March 2005 (UTC)Reply

I don't think the mythological article is long enough to merit that yet, and neither one is so significant that it screams "distinct article!" to me. I certainly don't dispute that more sources and information would be useful, though. -Silence 17:13, 4 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
One reputable source is the external link to "The Fairy Mythology", written by Thomas Keightley. Just because the source is online doesn't make it automatically unreliable. It's online because Keightley's book is from 1880; it's in the public domain. Keightley also happens to be a very trustworthy, reliable source. 71.239.19.109 04:43, 24 May 2007 (UTC) Chris G.Reply

Should we mention that it's quite likely that there is a connection between the Mazikeen folk stories and the Djinn of Arabic legend? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.188.117.5 (talkcontribs) 22:05, 22 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

– From a Google search, Mazzikin seems to be the most common of several latinizations of Hebrew: מַזִּיקִים for the Jewish demon [1]. This spelling is primarily used by the comic book character. power~enwiki (π, ν) 21:33, 14 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Also, a hist-merge may be necessary with the close; a significant part of this article's history is about the comic book character. power~enwiki (π, ν) 21:33, 14 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Support Agree with what is for be a more natural looking transliteration. Especially if it allows to place the article about the comics at a more logical place per WP:COMMON. Debresser (talk) 17:03, 15 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment: This probably goes without saying, but ... if this move is performed, incoming links to moved pages will need to be verified after the move, especially considering that none of the pages in this move request are disambiguation pages. Steel1943 (talk) 05:43, 25 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
