This article was made in haste soon after The Force Awakens was released with the assumption this character would contribute a lot to the story through further films and have long lasting cultural influence. Now that The Last Jedi (2017) and The Rise of Skywalker (2019) have come and gone, she ultimately ended up being a very minor character with little to no greater cultural impact outside of the hardcore Star Wars fandom.
There are characters in other films and television shows with far greater cultural relevancy than Maz Kanata who do not have their own Wikipedia page, so Maz Kanata shouldn't either. ZeBadger (talk) 02:35, 6 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
