Talk:Maximum usable frequency

First sentence

edit

The first sentence of this article does not make sense. --129.138.6.47 (talk) 16:03, 22 March 2010 (UTC) Or it only makes sense given the context of the definition: in this case we consider reflected waves "useful" for extending transmission range beyond line of sight. Above the maximum usable frequency, broadcasts wont reflect back to earth. Local spectrum enjoys reduced noise floor above the maximum usable frequency: interference from non-local broadcasting is minimal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeffreagan (talkcontribs) 08:03, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Need to list approximate maximum usable frequency.

I would like to know if MUF is currently above or below 26 MHz. Links to authoritative sites where MUF is measured would be helpful.Jeffreagan (talk) 08:17, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
