I'll refrain from further edits on the Rubin article. I don't want to launch a flame-style quarrel here, and I do not contribute to Wikipedia enough to understand the subtleties of what's acceptable and what isn't it. My corrections were removed because they containted "POV", evidently. But the article itself is pure POV and drawn entirely from Rubin's own promotional materials. The article does not appear to belong on Wikipedia at all. Rubin says he is a casino consultant. He further advertises his bona fides in the advantage gambling world. He claims never to share the secrets he learns from advantage gamblers with casinos, with the exception of one casino. This is an unusual, fragile and dubious position. It seems strange to me that Wikipedia promotes such a controversial position. It is not very encyclopedia-like. Articles like the Rubin article subvert the value of this website.

You didn't include any citations for the additions that you made. Your changes also all seemed to be an effort to discredit Rubin. The article as written now seems to be comprised of factual statements. Rubin is a gambling expert and author (first sentence.) The short description of his book Comp City is accurate. (I've read it.) The words "sought after" in that one sentence seems promotional, and I'll delete that after I finish typing this. He did serve as a commentator on those shows, and the membership information regarding the Blackjack Hall of Fame and his hosting of the Blackjack Ball are both also factual. The 2nd paragraph is possibly problematic. I'll revise it, and you feel free to share your opinion here.
Your fears of launching a flame-style quarrel are unfounded. Most of us are able to conduct a civil discussion of edits and articles. :) Rray 16:09, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Very nicely handled. I sort of do want to discredit Rubin, frankly, but I know in my heart that Wikipedia is not the place. Thanks for stripping the biased material from the article -- including my own. The speed and integrity with which you've handled it are impressive and speak to the overall success of the Wikipedia project.
That's very kind of you to say. If I missed anything that should be added or deleted, feel free to let me know or even change it yourself. :) Rray 00:51, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
