Afghanistan and Afghan people are basically Indian edit
The mosque was really a HINDU TEMPLE, as Afghanistan was originally part of india and an important part of HINDUISM. All Afghan people were originally Hindu and to escape the persecution of Persians, Arabs and Moslems, they had to change many of the ancient Hindu temples into Shrines etc... this article needs to be changed.

Same as the Blue Mosque in the Mazari Sharif article? edit
I see there are several images of a Blue Mosque in the Mazari Sharif article. Here's one, is it the same thing that this article is about? Manxruler (talk) 13:11, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Shrine of Ali → Blue Mosque, Mazar-i-Sharif – This mosque being the shrine of Ali, according to the article, is only a local legend. Revision of the article edit
Large parts of this article are poorly written or rely too much on non-WP:RS sources. In the coming weeks, I hope to try and improve the text a bit. I'd like to rewrite it. Hezbollaist (talk) 11:29, 20 November 2023 (UTC)
