Pinhole camera? edit

I'm doubtful that a pinhole camera would have the quality needed for cinema. Can anyone cite a source for this claim?

In a two part interview in Starlog magazine ("Starlog" (USA) September 1983, Iss. 74, pg. 20-23,+60, by: Don McGregor, "Maurice Binder: Sighting Down a Gun Barrel at 007" ), Binder explained how he accomplished the gunbarrel sequence, using an actual .38 barrel and stuntman Bob Simmons. Binder said the only way he could get the rifling on the barrel and Simmons both in focus was by filming the event through a pinhole. In the same piece, Binder also explained his absence from the 2nd and 3rd Bond films by saying that the producers didn't want to pay him for the reuse of the gunbarrel title saying that anything that appeared in Dr. No belonged to THEM and not the creators. (explains the reuse of some of Monty Norman's score in FRWL). Binder claims to have made up with them during the making of Goldfinger and in the same piece claimed to have done the lettering for Brownjohn's titles. Age discrepancy edit

This article lists Maurice Binder as being born on 1918, whereas the official IMDB website (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0082800/bio/?ref_=nm_ov_bio_sm) lists him as being born on 1925. I am wondering where this discrepancy comes from and if the validity of this page or IMDB's listed age can be verified.
