This article was automatically assessed because at least one article was rated and this bot brought all the other ratings up to at least that level. BetacommandBot 23:41, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

The text of this article has simply been copied and pasted from the subject's own website! Surely Wikipedia is better than this? Lavengro1954 (talk) 01:00, 6 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Is there an available image for Maureen Duffy?

Dame Ethel Smyth

edit

I have to challenge the statement in this article that Maureen Duffy was the first "out" lesbian in England. Read the article on Dame Ethel Smyth. Mike Hayes (talk) 06:11, 1 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Contemporary British poet?

edit

What use is the disambiguation note at the beginning, "For the contemporary British poet, see Carol Ann Duffy"? For one thing, that entry has not a single "Maureen" in it, and then the next sentence in the entry on Maureen Duffy is that she is a "contemporary British poet". Therefore I take the liberty of deleting this reference. --WernR (talk) 20:27, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
