Needs verifiable sources and notable content

Article reads like a self-published artist bio and contains few reliable sources. Citations are needed throughout. I have removed some statements that are unverified and are not notable or impartial, such as those that refer to the subject's feelings about their home state, or accomplishments that are not supported by documented sources. I have removed some dead links, and some that do not contain any documentation that relates to the material.
