The hyperlink "Salmon" in the first column of the genealogy links to the article on the fish of that name. It should link to the Biblical character, as "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salmon_%28Biblical_figure%29". 92.87.28.5 (talk) 09:15, 6 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Verse is not in Hebrew Matthew

edit

This verse is a later corruption. According to www.disciplesofyeshuwa.com/gospel_of_matthew.html, the verse is not in Hebrew Matthew, which makes sense because obviously there are more than 14 generations. Another witness is that http://adamoh.org/TreeOfLife.lan.io/SDAcomms/Hebrew%20Gospel%20of%20MATTHEW%20by%20George%20Howard%20-%20Part%20One.pdf puts this verse in parentheses, which means that it's in some manuscripts but not others. 73.121.228.133 (talk) 05:18, 5 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

It’s wrong

edit

It’s not 14 generations from Abraham to Jesus. it’s 42 generations. Abraham to to David (14) David to Exile (14) and Exile to Jesus(14) adding it- 42. Matthew 1:17. Can you correct it. Thank you ❤️ 2601:192:8600:5187:E8BF:C13C:3FEF:B1A (talk) 22:20, 22 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
