I went to high school with this guy. You'd never believe it, but back then he was into some serious thrash bands, like Voi Vod and stuff I'd never heard of. Maybe I just listen to crappy music. White high tops, jeans long dyed black hair and a concert shirt. Anyway, I saw him at a concert at the old Cap Centre when I was maybe 18, 19. Matt was a year or so behind me. I also saw him at TGI Friday's a few years after that. So the part the part where it says he went to San Diego at 16... well he must've made frequent trips back, if that was the case. Don't know how you prove that or source it, but whatever. Ooze2b (talk) 03:42, 13 January 2016 (UTC)03:49, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
"With ...band"
editIt seems redundant to say "With Weezer" and "With The Rentals" given it is obvious he performed with these groups to have been credited with appearing on the albums. I will be removing the word "With" but please let me know if I'm missing some subtle point. Thanks! aerotheque (talk) 05:41, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Lawsuit
editIf someone has a source for the information on the lawsuit, that'd be great, because the information doesn't really seem correct, e.g. you don't charge someone with "declaratory relief." --Doctawojo 18:19, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Birthdate
editHi, I don't want to fix it since I don't know the answer, but Matt Sharp's birthday is listed as Sept 22, 1969 for spetember 22nd birthdays, and then as the 20th on his actual page. someone with more information should correct this! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Baker1bv (talk • contribs) 03:23, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- Based on Weezer members' bio page, September 22 seems to be the accurate date. --Cheers, Folajimi (leave a note) 00:38, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Birthplace
edit"Matt Sharp (born September 22, 1969 in Arlington, Virginia)"... "Matt Sharp was born in Bangkok, Thailand."
So, where was he born? Arlington, Virginia or Bangkok, Thailand?
