The HC mistake in match play edit

Why would Player A play as "scratch" (zero handicap) and Player B would get one stroke off his score on the hardest holes.? Why in other words, the 10 handicap becomes zero and the 19 handicap becomes nine. It is, because the meaning of the words of congu were misunderstood! "Full difference between the handicaps of the players" doesn't mean, that you must subtract the handicap, but the full HC was account. You play with the full HC in match play - that is the message!! The worst case is a HC difference of 1. I.e.: Player A has HC 17 and player B HC 18. In this case Player B get a "bank" on the hardest hole but not on the easiest. You see, the current HC in matchplay is based on a mistake. "Full difference between the handicaps of the players" is not "The subtraction between the handicaps of the players" regards Rupert — Preceding unsigned comment added by Schierzrupert (talkcontribs) 15:00, 6 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
