How popular is this? It seems only limited to the people talking about it in the RS article... Seems like an unencyclopedic neologism... Unless it's more popular than I know about. Thorns Among Our Leaves 21:57, 23 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I was disappointed when I tried to find more infomation. I was hoping to add an image of one, but couldn't find anything beyond that article (and blogs talking about that article). --Icarus 01:40, 24 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
i'd support a deletion on account of the term being a neologism with limited use. -Willmcw 20:07, 26 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

This is unrelated to the previous discussion, but somebody has to ask this question: What kind of sick, perverted weirdo could ever come up with the idea of a 'masturband', let alone actually advocate its manufacture and proliferation? --Kirobos 15:33, 13, March 200

Anyone know where you can get one? It seems like a good idea to act as a reminder.

Fascists edit

This reminds me of the armbands that the Nazis made the Jews wear that stated JEW. In both cases it tells people something about someone that is totally unnecessary. the only difference being that the Jews weren't allowed to take the bands off :(

This has nothing to do with anything, this article or otherwise. It's an article explaining something first of all, opinions are all null & void next to clarity & objectivity in explaining the article at hand. Secondly, this is a self imposed practice, not something coercing anyone. Using your logic is just falling into Godwin's law. 67.5.147.229 22:11, 30 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Recommendation: Delete Redirect to "Wristband" edit

The "Masturband" is currently listed as a Human Sexuality Article. However, it redirects to "Wristband". The Wristband article no longer has related to human sexuality.

In addition, I have been researching human sexuality related articles for a number of years. I have only ever heard the term "Masturband" used as a derogatory or humorous reference to various wristband fads and trends (e.g., the brightly colored wristbands that indicate the person supports a particular charity).
