This page uses the word 'doctorate' to describe Cacciari's level of study. I am convinced he earned the Italian 'laurea' which is not equivalent to 'doctorate' as defined in Wikipedia. Most Italian universities offer a 'degree' called a laurea, which requires a thesis; and graduates use the title 'dottore.' But this is not equivalent to the PhD or even Master degree, as these are available in the Italian system. I believe the article should be revised to say his 'degree' - or similar; but I can find no evidence Massimo earned a 'doctorate.'
