New heading

Let's write new heading "Masha's fairytales" about spean-off of "Masha and the Bear". I have already tried found this one, but there were hardnesses with translating. Help me, please! Skelet of heading is in this link: ★. F.J.Pauld-Wikipedist 13:42, 22 April 2014 (UTC).

Is that a translation from Russian title? I created a Masha's Tales redirect, which is the title that is displaying in Canada for this. It redirects to a new section under the list of episodes. I added all I could find scheduled, some of which are reruns from back in October, with some new ones debuting in February. ScratchMarshall (talk) 20:53, 2 February 2018 (UTC)

Masha and the Bear → Masha and The BeaR – letters T and R are clearly uppercased in the title image File:Masha_and_The_Bear_logo.png. If we don't move it there then this should at least redirect here with a mention of the stylization. Ranze (talk) 15:54, 17 October 2016 (UTC)

Michka

The french title of the show is Masha et Michka which I directed here. Google Translate doesn't appear to suggest that this is a French or Russian term though. Only that it is Bulgarian for "mice".

Is "Michka" much like "Medved" an actual given name for "The Bear", and he simply just isn't given a name (just called "Bear") in English releases? ScratchMarshall (talk) 20:56, 2 February 2018 (UTC)

The article explains it this way: In some episodes of the Russian-language version, Masha calls him "Mishka" (Russian: Мишка, English: Literally “Little Bear”), which is a traditional name given to bears in Russian tales. -- ThomasO. 21:42, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
