Reviewing one of your amazing articles after years :D I will post my comments soon. Sainsf (talk · contribs) 08:13, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for your interest and time. I will do my best to respond to your suggestions. Hoppyh (talk) 11:16, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
Sorry for the delay, I got busy with a few articles.
- No dablinks, duplinks, copyvio issues, external link problems detected
- Sourcing: Sources appear decent and citations are formatted well. A few portions appear unsourced and need inline citations, for example the bullet points listing the children. Can we have some for the enlisted works that are not mentioned earlier, like The Art of Housekeeping?
- I just came in here to leave you a message to see if you were ok. I had placed the source for the children at the end of the list. Let me know if that doesn't suffice.Hoppyh (talk) 13:46, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- Ref added (Willard is the primary ref for all the works.) Hoppyh (talk) 13:52, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- Should be better to place it right after the colon before the list starts, it gives the impression that the source covers all points. Sainsf (knock knock · am I there?) 17:07, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- Two more lines need inline citations: Sainsf (knock knock · am I there?) 17:07, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
Well-written and a pleasant read all in all. Here are my comments: Sainsf (knock knock · am I there?) 07:38, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
Author and Translator
(Infobox) Why 'T'?
- Should the infobox not include children? At least 'See text' as there are many?
- Done with a grin–GA reviewer of her father Gessner Harrison had me remove list of children entirely per WP:NOTGENEALOGY
- Oh, that's right, no need to reproduce a list in the infobox but surely something ought to be mentioned so that the reader can do with a quick look at the article. No issues I see. Sainsf (knock knock · am I there?) 17:07, 29 April 2020 (UTC)

- I think "Youth, education and family" should be changed to "Early life and family" as it starts with her birth and sounds more concise.
Dr. Peachy Harrison and Mary Stuart
Any background on who these people were or do we just know their names?
when selected as Queen of the May by her contemporaries
Not sure I understand this. What exactly is the relevance of the title, and who were the contemporaries exactly at such a young age?
In keeping with standard practice at the time, the university provided the home at no cost for his lifetime
This part appears irrelevant to me for the topic.
A notable beginning was made with
I think "she made a notable beginning.." sounds better.
Of her original books
Good place to mention her first original book
Smith was thought by eminent critics to have
"Eminent critics think/consider Smith to have .." sounds better
Her translations for leading periodicals and publishing houses form a long list.
Not sure "long list" is a good descriptor, may even be considered problematic wording. Maybe say "She did a number of translations for leading periodicals and publishing houses"
Her work included books for children
Shouldn't it be 'includes'? As she is no more but her work remains?
Finally, Smith made numerous contributions
Not sure we should say "finally", unless we were making a list of points. Here it is multiple sections.
A stained glass window (height–13 ft.) in the University Chapel
Change to "A stained glass window, {{convert|13|ft|m|abbr=on|order=flip}} high, in the ..."
Current research at hand does not otherwise document Smith's connection with the chapel
Current may sound vague.. better say It is not known
- I think I addressed everything but let me know. Thanks again for your time, interest and help. Hoppyh (talk) 15:04, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks, the changes look great. Just one point left about the sources for the children list and two more lines need inline citations. Cheers, Sainsf (knock knock · am I there?) 17:07, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- All done I think. Thanks again. Hoppyh (talk) 18:30, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- Great! Ready to promote :) Sainsf (knock knock · am I there?) 18:34, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- A doubt though, where do I list this GA in this category? Sainsf (knock knock · am I there?) 18:38, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
