Talk:Mary Meader/GA2

Well, this is a well-done article. Congratulations. I see a lot of improvment from last time.

However, it does need some work before becoming a GA. For instance, as mentioned before, this article needs more citations. So, I'm going to put the article on hold until due work is done. Thanks, ~Meldshal42 02:18, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

There really were not that many references to be found. I added all that were of relevance, but most stuff was mirrors of the NYT article. I tried my local library, but there was nothing to be found. This is supposed to be a "good" article, not perfect, and I don't think there is enough for this to go past GA. Sorry, I tried. I'm an Editorofthewiki[citation needed] 02:25, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, let me check out the resources. Then I'll move on. ~Meldshal42 20:47, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
I take back what I said. All the references seem good. ~Meldshal42 20:49, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Just wanted to inform you that it is improper to use cquote templates in articles. Thanks. ~Meldshal42 20:54, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Would there be any way you could expand this article any further? ~Meldshal42 20:56, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, if someone could get ahold of Focus of Africa, that would be a plus. But remember, these are good articles, not featured. I'm an Editorofthewiki[citation needed] 21:10, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm just kinda watching this as the previous GA reviewer. But I really feel it's up to the nominator to do the research necessary to have the article pass. I offered to do some research and email Editor news stories, but he declined. Go to the library to see what you can find. It's available in a library near me. I just checked. --Moni3 (talk) 22:48, 3 June 2008 (UTC) Edit: Are you sure that's not a lion cub in the image? Unless she spent time in Asia, since there are no tigers in Africa. --Moni3 (talk) 22:50, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hm... I don't really know what it is. I thought it said tiger with the source I found, but I can't really find that now. I think I'll just blank the caption. And I'll look in another library near me to find it.
i have passed the article. ~Meldshal42 21:15, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! I have pre ordered the book, and I shall be sourcing in a couple of days. I'm an Editorofthewiki[citation needed] 21:36, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
