French left the PD office a few years ago. See this news release. The article with the description "high powered" is far from explicit. In fact, it uses the term ironically. "High powered" attorneys are folks like Johnnie Cochran. (Also, the Sacramento News is an "alternative" news source.) She was involved in the Adrian Lamo case in 2003 (see this piece), but the stories only mention her in passing. – S. Rich (talk) 16:34, 3 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
