Birth name edit
I have commented out two instances where Mary Annie Dungan was given as her birth name, with no citation either time. I also changed her father's last name from Dungan to Duncan after finding a December 7, 1929, newspaper article that gave Mary Duncan as "her right name" and Capt. William S. Duncan as her father's name. If anyone can provide a citation for "Dungan", then it might be re-inserted into the text. Eddie Blick (talk) 02:10, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
- I have again commented out Mary Annie Dungan, this time from the "birth_name" line of the infobox, as no citation was given to support that name. This article, which is cited in the text, specifies, "Mary Duncan, and that's her right name ..." Eddie Blick (talk) 22:28, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
Date of birth edit
I have changed Duncan's date of birth from the unsourced August 13, 1894, to August 15, 1905, in the text and in the infobox. The latter date is specified in This article, which is citation 2 as I write this comment. If someone has a valid source for another date, the topic can be discussed on this page.
