A purge of sources deemed unreliable by Wikipedia (in this case, Quillette) led to the removal of a "weird claim" from this article. The skeptical reader may view the relevant passage for themselves, in Rubenstein's book Astrotopia, at the bottom of page 150 ("In fact, the Moon might even desire things...").
