This article has almost no useful information edit
An intelligent reader will want to know Kalb's political outlook and the influence / effect he has had on US politics and journalism throughout his career. Essentially no information of this kind is provided in the article. ---Dagme (talk) 15:30, 17 November 2013 (UTC)

Kalb is 85 which is impressive. Only dates hinting at when he became notable are publication dates. How about a chronology of positions held?
