Place of birth

edit

The text of the article says Mr Allen was born in Dorking, but the infobox says London. Does anyone have a citable source to clarify? DuncanHill 23:11, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's definitely Dorking, but I'll see if I can find a suitable source. BeerMatt 14:52, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Super Bowl Ring

edit

Just to clarify: there is precedent for practice squad players to be rewarded with a ring, (cf: Scott McCready). McCready was a British player who moved to the US at the age of 15, and came up through the ranks via NCAA and NFL Europe. Allen will be the first BAFL product to win a Super Bowl Ring, if he does get one. BeerMatt (talk) 09:52, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Every practice squad player gets a ring. Even players that were on the team for some of the season but weren't during the Super Bowl get a ring. Todd Lowber got one with the Giants and he was a free agent at the time, but he'd been on their practice squad earlier in the year.►Chris NelsonHolla! 12:39, 10 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
