Wrong

edit

I can't comment on the radio version, but I have seen the TV version and it had far less advertising than this article would suggest (heck, I just watched an episode, and it only had about 3 or 4 minutes of advertising throughout the entire program). Mark Stevens

edit

Mark Stevens' episodes were also live. Only the much later separate run, here said to have starred William Gargan, was filmed. I have seen episodes on the America One network with all four listed actors—including Stevens—and all were kinescopes of live telecasts. I know that a number of sources say Stevens did the filmed version, but they do not date it within the live run as this article does, nor do they claim a second filmed run, with Gargan or anybody else. And vice versa with those that say Gargan did the filmed version. This is the very first instance of claiming that both actors starred in two separate film incarnations of Kane in my experience, which is considerable. There is, I have no doubt, simply confusion as to which actor played it on film. Further note that the Wiki article on Ziv Television Programs gives the alleged Gargan/film version's title as Martin Kane, Private Investigator, not either title ascribed to filmed runs here. Can anybody do better? --Tbrittreid (talk) 22:23, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
