Asian American edit

Just wondering here...the article, at various times, has said Taiwan-born American (I think that was my last wording), Taiwanese-American, and Asian-American. The most recent version goes back to Asian American - why the less specific term? We can state specifically what kind of Asian-American she is. (I don't at all have a preference between Taiwan-born American and Taiwanese-American, so if the latter is more palatable for any reason, it's alright with me.)
