This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --168.103.118.153 (talk) 21:20, 11 February 2013 (UTC)Ask The Pastor is New Mexico's Longest Running Live Radio Call-In Program, with listeners all around the world! The Founder, Marvin Capehart and his wife, Jan, appointed Pastor Mark Tross to carry on the program, after Marvin retired, due to health issues. Marvin was a well respected Pastor, who served the Baptist organization well, was a chaplain and also served in CO & TX. Mark Tross has met and worked with many respected people in ministry throughout the world, such a John Hagee, R. T. Kendell, Jonathan Cahn, Author of the NY Times Best Selling Book, The Harbinger, which was made into a documentary, The Isaiah 9:10 Judgement, which was the #1 Faith Movie in America for 2012. He has served on the board of Care-Net Pregnancy Centers in ABQ and is presently on the planning board for NM Prayer Connect, which is instrumental in bringing the Body of Christ together throughout the State of NM, working with John Robb of The International Prayer Council & Charles Harper of The Southwest Indian Missions, located in AZ. I'm certain this page will serve Wikipedia well and their users around the world. 168.103.118.153 (talk) 21:20, 11 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Article has been edited significantly

edit

I have made some significant edits to this page, found some references, made internal links to other articles, removed some sentences that were unsupported or not directly relevant, etc. I do not know Pastor Tross, and I am not a follower of his church, but he seems to be well known and influential in the Christian community. The article probably needs more work, but I don't feel that it should be deleted.—Anne Delong (talk) 15:27, 12 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Cibola Beacon

edit

A search of the Cibola Beacon reveals no column by Mark Tross, but there is indication of his name in the advertising section. Paid inserts do no count toward notability. —Anne Delong (talk) 16:21, 12 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion

edit

I have removed the proposed deletion box from the page. This is no guarantee that another editor may not replace it at a later date. To prevent this, try to find sources about Pastor Tross in publications not related to the organizations in which he participates. For example, reviews of his radio shows, newspaper articles about his activities, etc. —Anne Delong (talk) 16:42, 12 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
