I posted an brief bio of myself on your site because it made it easier for me to let people know where they could get a copy of it.
I wasn't aware until now that this practice is discouraged.
Given that, I don't understand why you allow it to continue to be posted. In any event, if you can't strike the editors' notes on top, please delete it entirely.

Birthday
editIs there a reason why we don't have an exact birthday? We are not talking about someone who was born before we were able to have a written record of it. Also, if the person himself has contributed to the article, can't he include his birthday? -- chick3magnet
