Hi; the reason I removed the comment that Mark was acting as a scribe for Peter was that I felt this was too much information for the disambiguation page. It's covered in the article. Feel free to disagree and revert.

Gospel

Also, I put "Gospel of Mark" in the list with everything else, which is the way "Gospel of Matthew|Luke|John" is handled on the relevant disambiguation pages. Yes, I'm obsessive-compulsive about consistency. :) Jdavidb 14:37, 8 Apr 2004 (UTC)

This is more a relic from a long time ago when user pages did not have their own namespace, and user pages were in the main article namespace. Gospel title: "according to"

The Greek – in the case of all four Gospel accounts – has kata, Latin secondo, both meaning according to. In other words [The] Good News according to .... There is a lively discussion as to the genre of the Gospels, hence their precise title, while not original but very early all the same, may be considered significant. (It is easy to see, why one often encounters of, even in scholarly writings ... it is 9 characters and 1 space shorter, and rolls better off the tongue.) Portress 03:16, 17 May 2005 (UTC)

Remove per Colin Kimbrell. This link shows up in every imaginable place, and does nothing to improve the quality. Given the linkspamming about, and the usual procedure to discuss changes, not reversions (the link was just added), I am reverting and suggest we reach consensus before adding. I'm not sure I understand your point. It has been removed in many pages since it is part of an ongoing problem with vandalism. It has been removed there since it clearly does not belong. Splitting page up

I think this page should be split up into the disambiguation page and a page about the given name, maybe Mark (given name). According to Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages), disambiguation pages should be kept as short as possible. Comments? --Chl 15:31, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

Under measurement, mark twian redirects to the writer Mark Twain. i don't believe an article exists about the measurement, and i do not posses the knowledge to creat it. will someone please correct this... Makers mark

I removed the redirect which simply came back to this page. I have put a proposal out in Ceramic Art to add a paragraph and later an article on this item. At that time, I will edit here to put a redirect to the new paragraph. Aclayartist (talk) 19:46, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
