Talk:Maria de Victorica

{{WikiProject Military history|Biography=y|German=y|WWII=y|class=Start|b1=no|b2=no|b3=no|b4=yes|b5=yes} My grandfather, William H. Daly was an attorney and appealed Madame Victorica's case. She was exonerated and the case was groundbreaking and was written up in law books as being so. The article states that Madame Victorica's occupation was espionage, but it was proprietress of an ice cream establishment in Bronx, New York. She was a victim of anti German sentiment that was prevalent at the time. Her exoneration makes me wonder if the writer of this article just didn't do enough research, or was Victorica's exoneration given little coverage at the time, and thus, difficult to find now.
