Missing word edit

"There is no record of any brought by her against Roberval." There is a word missing after "any", such as "lawsuit", "charges", "revenge" or "complaint". Art LaPella (talk) 03:27, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ah! Thank you! I'm obviously not concentrating.. will fix now. Gwinva (talk) 03:50, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oops, this edit unfixed it, along with some other things. I'll explain my Newfoundland disambiguation if necessary. Art LaPella (talk) 04:56, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oops indeed! I edit conflicted myself, by having the page open in several tabs. Thanks for picking that up...I think I've restored it all now. (No need to explain disambig: lost throough error, not disagreement! sorry...) Gwinva (talk) 21:52, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Saint Paul River edit

The link in the article to the Saint Paul River leads to the river in Liberia. There doesn't appear to be a Rivère St. Paul (Quebec) page on Wikipedia, so I removed the link. Hope that's okay! Mattyleg (talk) 19:30, 3 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Legend? edit

The article for Isle of Demons calls her story a legend, while this article presents it as more or less factual. Seems to me that these should be reconciled. M-1 (talk) 01:53, 30 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

I agree. Phantom Island calls the Isle of Demons a mythical "phantom island" that was later found to not exist. Isle of Demons is confusing, claiming that it was "a mythical land on Quirpon Island", which doesn't make sense because it's supposed to BE an island. I'm not sure exactly what that article is trying to say, and left a comment about it on the talk page. As for this page, if she did in fact exist, and was in fact marooned on an island, it probably wasn't really the Isle of Demons, but one that still exists to this day under a different name. The Isle of Demons is considered legendary (not sure about La Rocque), so to speak of her being marooned there as if it was historical fact doesn't make sense. I added a note that the Isle of Demons is now considered legendary and a phantom island into the introduction, but it could be integrated into the text better. Ideally the entire article would be re-phrased as summarizing the story of what SUPPOSEDLY happened to her, whatever the truth of it is. It shouldn't speak as if it was proven historical fact..45Colt 07:43, 30 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
