Untitled edit

The 1993 date for Margo Coleman's divorce from Ken Howard contradicts the 1991 date in the Ken Howard article. I'm noting this over there, as well. Songflower 00:14, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Internet Movie Database biography for Ken Howard gives the 1991 date, so I changed it here.

Proposed move to Margo Howard edit

This article should be under the name Margo Howard because that is how she identifies herself in her columns and books. Does anyone object to such a move? --Metropolitan90 14:27, 18 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree, but it will have to be done at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Powers T 02:09, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Because it's disputed, or for technical reasons? I'm an admin, so I can delete the redirect in preparation for a move. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 07:45, 11 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Technical reasons. Margo Howard has a history. =) Powers T 16:05, 11 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Margo Howard Misandrist? edit

In Dear Margo's May 8th 2008 column a woman asked for advice on how to involve a man more in her child's life.

Margo's Response: "I believe your main concern is the amount of time spent with your son. I would go double or nothing on this one. Insist on more time or stop the weekly hour. "

Effectively saying to this woman "Hold this man's child hostage until you get what you want." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.247.100.121 (talk) 07:32, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Another note to this effect, in the october 9th column of Dear Margo she makes it clear she believes keeping a father in the dark about his child is preferable as it would be an inconvenience to the mother to make the real paternity known. It would seem that Margo feels that neither the rights of the biological dad, or the son have any value in comparison to the convenience of the mother. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.247.62.242 (talk) 14:11, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Seems to me a VERY weak argument. And the source cited is hardly credible. I think this article needs significant cleaning up before it can meet wikipedia's quality standards. 163.191.255.254 (talk) 17:16, 31 October 2008 (UTC) KaraReply

Criticism edit

Margo Howard has been criticized for holding what appear to be misandrist views, including advocating paternity fraud as well as using a man's children as a means to coerce the father to do what the mother wishes.

Because there was not a footnote or citation attached to it and without either it is merely the opinion of someone and not fact. Neither of the above comments is fact and merely the opinion of the two writers based on their personal interpretation of the alleged statements. --Circleof05ths (talk) 01:41, 20 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
