Why is this

2005 - Pat Summitt, coach of the University of Tennessee Lady Vols (women's college basketball), becomes the all-time leader in victories for both men's and women's college basketball, getting her 880th win as coach of the team.

considered worthy of being on this page. I've never heard of the woman and I guess most people outside the University of Tennessee do either. And not only is this on here but for example Sir Alex Furgusson, one of footballs most successful managers, leading Manchester United into his 1000th game in charge against Lyon on 23 November 2004 (first manager to every manage that many games at one club) doesn't.Jimmmmmmmmm 10:04 March 25th

  • I've deleted that entry on the grounds that most people outside of the US wouldn't know them from a hole in the ground. Average Earthman 15:49, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

Juninho - says he was born 22nd February on his Wikipedia page 19.46 GMT 26 7 2006

Thanks for pointing that out :). I've removed him from this page. Fabricationary 18:48, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

I've noticed that according to wikipedia no one has died on March 22 for the last 2000 years. Is this possible? There is no list of deaths on March 22, why is that?

I’ve deleted the entry about the founding of the Football Association: in line with the Wikipedia entry on the FA, I’m going to shift it to the 23rd, if that’s ok …

I removed "*2013 - The alternative band My Chemical Romance broke up." for relevance and style on 21 March 2016. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.229.165.13 (talk) 02:41, 22 March 2016 (UTC)

Removed anniversary

I removed the fact about JRR Tolkien's marriage. I don't think we should start including anniversaries on here unless they're really notable, e.g. kings and queens. Otherwise we're going to have a marriage anniversaries section as long as the births and deaths sections, which are already riddled with problems. Is there already some consensus on this that I'm unaware of? Please revert me if necessary. Thanks delldot talk 23:05, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Including weddings would generally be frowned upon. Weddings are not considered notable for inclusion as events especially since it is unlikely that an article exists for a wedding. See this for a discussion on the topic. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 06:30, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

Borders of Greece/1829

Cite needed on that entry, I found nothing in the articles on Greece, the Greek War of Independence and the Treaty of Constantinople. Cheers, Ouro (blah blah) 10:22, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Deaths that aren't added

Personally, I feel that whomever keeps removing "My Chemical Romance" from the "Death" section is just a butt-hurt old man who spends his days annoying people on Wikipedia. Keep it their, it was a very tragic day, for millions of people. MCR was, and still is, the greatest band ever. Keep running Killjoys, and my death never stop you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Frnkierxo (talkcontribs) 00:31, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
