Peer Review edit

I think this is a great, focused article! The only suggestions I have are related to the writing style. For instance, instead of saying "as Autumn kicks in", try saying something more appropriate, such as "During Autumn" or "When Autumn comes." Try using the website "Grammarly" if you need additional assistance.

The only other thing I would check into is the validity/credibility of some of your sources, per the standard of the Wikipedia training. This comment is referencing citation 17 in particular. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Madeline Geffert (talkcontribs) 21:09, 17 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the review Madeline! I will look into this. Whit5022 (talk) 02:32, 18 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

I am unable to comprehend this sentence edit

"For those trees which don't shed their foliage, they do hold some forms of disadvantages" What does "they" refer to? Certainly not the "trees". I assume somewhere it is meant to refer to marcescent, but there is no antecedent "marcescent". Hoping you can fix this up. I found it a very interesting article with English which needed a little cleaning-up. But could you have another go at making the meaning of this sentence clearer? Thanks. Disadvantages edit

I would like to delete the section on disadvantages. The single (poor quality) reference given for all statements within this section fails to adequately justify the statements made. MargaretRDonald (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 06:50, 19 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Image Gallery edit

The last image in the gallery is labelled as Quercus rubra. It is definitely not a Quercus rubra, and judging by the bark and the leaves which appear to be opposite, it's not even a Quercus. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.2.12.97 (talk) 23:50, 18 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
