Good Article on Hold edit

This article has been placed on hold, as a few changes need to be made to it to reach good article standards. Firstly, please explain the meaning of a "muturia" since there is no wikipedia article on it, I assume it is some form of qualification.

Secondly the political career section needs some altering to it has a more neutral point of view. Many references are made about the contraversy of her appointment, a quote from a key figure about their concerns with her appointment would be good here. Then, for neutrality, nothing is included on why she was selected as Minister for Equal Oppertunity and I assume some sort of statement was released with regards to her suitability for the job, or that there is a quote somewhere defending her.

Please complete these changes within seven days and leave a note for me on the talk page. Keep up the good work! Million_Moments (talk) 20:38, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

No changes have been made. Please not unless improvement is seen soon I will have to fail the article. Million_Moments (talk) 20:21, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I've been away for a while. The maturità issue was a quick fix; someone had just put in the correct Italian spelling without disambiguating, it should be ok now. There was only one reference to controversies surrounding her appointment, and that was just a remnant from the original translation I did from the Italian. I removed this as I couldn't find any good sources for it. There's a few mentions of the attention her appointment got though, and I believe this is well documented. As for official statements defending the appointment, there is no such thing on the official government pages, and neither have I found Berlusconi making any statements relating particularly to Carfagna. I'll keep looking though. Lampman Talk to me! 23:26, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'll give it a couple of days because then because I do think it's really important you have at least one nice thing that's been said about her political career. This doesn't have to be from a political source, maybe a newspaper editorial? Has she done anything that's been congratulated? I can understand it might be difficult but the article does not seem balanced without it Million_Moments (talk) 15:16, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well, I found a reference describing her as a diligent and hard-working parliamentarian, and I also added that she graduated with honours. Lampman Talk to me! 16:38, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Successful good article nomination edit

I am glad to report that this article nomination for good article status has been promoted. This is how the article, as of June 7, 2008, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: Pass
2. Factually accurate?: Pass
3. Broad in coverage?: Pass
4. Neutral point of view?: Pass
5. Article stability? Pass
6. Images?: Pass

Further improvements would include general expansion. As above any more positive statements made about Carfagna would be welcome in the article, just to give the political career section a little more balance. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to take it to Good article reassessment. Thank you to all of the editors who worked hard to bring it to this status, and congratulations.— Million_Moments (talk) 20:56, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
