Object As the creator of the article I don't necessarily feel comfortable removing the PROD tag, but I do object. I decided to create the article while reading an article on a marine species which had the phrase "ERMS scope" in it. I tried to find its meaning elsewhere on Wiki and couldn't, I did find nearly 300 other Wikipedia articles with the phrase in them and figured it deserved an explanation. On top, a further 40+ articles use MarBEF as references or external reading. ERMS is placed within the MarBEF project, as are several others, and they are continually used & updated by scientists to this day. I thought an article on the "umbrella" MarBEF was more appropriate than just ERMS. I intend to include descriptions of the other projects as well. As explained, MarBEF (via ERMS) was the "parent" concept for the World Register of Marine Species and so MarBEF has had an impact beyond itself. I will try to find more secondary sources for why MarBEF is important. I only ask other editors consider this before taking any additional actions. Coinmanj (talk) 02:10, 25 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
