I disagree with this statement from the current article: "Sanguillen was notorious for being a 'bad-ball' hitter, meaning he often swung at pitches outside the strike zone, but smashed them for base hits more often than not." I doubt that Sanguillen "more often than not" obtained base hits from his swings at balls outside the strike zone. I suspect that, like most every (if not every) MLB player in the past 100 years, the majority of such swings by Sanguillen did not result in base hits.Chilcoot23:26, 16 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
