Dumas as Manhunter VI?

edit

Whoever added all the Wikification on 6/14/05, _thank_you_. I can't write and Wikify at the same time, and you saved me a lot of later work.  :) Sfeldon 23:32, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Is anyone absolutely sure about the statement that Dumas was Manhunter VI? My reading of Manhunter v2, #12, was that Shaw was undercover as Dumas, not that Dumas was undercover as Manhunter--Seargent Steel explicitly says he sent a ringer as Manhunter, and does NOT say that it was Dumas. Sfeldon 08:29, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I appreciate the work that was done updating Manhunter VI to be Dumas, but I honestly believe it to be wrong, and am about to update it to revert it to being an unknown. I believe that the evidence presented in Manhunter, V2, #12 is pretty conclusive. If there is other evidence that I am contradicting, my apologies and please bring it up. (I've never reverted anyone's changes before, and have some trepidation.) Sfeldon 10:38, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)

AS of Manhunter v3 #13: Mark Shaw is and always has been Dumas - any appearances of the character otherwise are a fiction of shaw's mind or handwaved away some other way.. yes.. I know...

Manhunter v3 #13: big changes!

edit

Well, obviously there's a lot of revision necessary to this article based on this comic. I'm going to ask one question, though: how long before massive retcons like this one can be integrated into the main text of the article, even with spoiler notification? I really don't want to spoil anyone's read, but this entire article needs revising, now, and I really don't want to do it too early OR leave it undone any longer than it needs to be. Opinions? I'm having a go now!

Ringer

edit

The ringer should not have his own section. He is an impostor who only portrays Manhunter on occasion, and that occasion is his death. He should go under Mark Shaw's section. --Chris Griswold 06:48, 8 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Secretorigins manhunters.jpg

Image:Secretorigins manhunters.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Manhunter (other guys)?

edit

How about offering more individual Manhunter articles for the various holders of the moniker? Does the current one really have to be the only separate Manhunter? Dan, Paul (one article for both), Mark, and even 2070; and just how is Kate being counted as the eighth, anyway? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.35.187.155 (talk) 06:20, 14 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
