Date Manfred Gurlitt ceased activity?

edit

From the article:

  • He ceased conducting in the mid-1970s.[18]
  • He died in Tokyo on 29 April 1972 at the age of 82.[19]

Perhaps someone with access to Galliano, Luciana ("Manfred Gurlitt and the Japanese Operatic Scene, 1939-1972", Japan Review (2006)) could improve this pair of sentences? Scarabocchio (talk) 20:42, 13 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
