There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.

Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 18:16, 21 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Intending to rewrite this page

edit

This article could use some love; after adding an infobox and gathering some additional references, I've decided to rewrite it. Should take 2-3 weeks. If you have any suggestions for inclusion in the rewrite, please leave them here on the talk page.JGehlbach (talk) 03:01, 5 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Rewrite is done. I have one additional acting credit for the the article subject for which I'm still seeking a reliable source. If you have suggestions or contributions for this page, please leave them here. Enjoy! JGehlbach (talk) 16:07, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
I added the above-mentioned acting credit with a citation-needed template. Will come behind and address once I have a reliable source. JGehlbach (talk) 17:20, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Shift to full-time activism

edit

I recently learned that Thomas has left her regular job to devote herself full-time to activism. Reliable sources supporting this change are welcome. In the meantime I have removed occupation from the infobox of this article. Poorlyglot (talk) 20:56, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

The 22 March 2018 episode of Freethought Radio includes an interview with Thomas which supports this change. Poorlyglot (talk) 14:49, 29 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Addressing concerns leading to use of advert template

edit

@DGG: I'm seeking out additional sources to broaden the scope of this article's citations; do you perceive other issues which led you to add the advert template?

Many of the existing ones especially for the description of her organization are either press releases, her own work, or interviews in which she is allowed to say whatever she wishes, which amounts also to a press release. These need to be removed. The voice segment is she introducing herself, and amounts to a PR also (as does the video clip.) . The first picture is an excuse for name-dropping. Useo nly the 2nd, which shows her much more clearly--that's the purpose of a picture in a bio. DGG ( talk ) 18:25, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
